Best ring

Ive been doing the free offers dor platinum. Ive figured that the best thing to buy with this limited platinum source is a premium eing. So my question is : What is the best ring or a full str tank bear? :) or should i buy something else with the platinum first?

I'm personally fond of the Dex rings but you really need to have at least 60+ dex to use them. I find that it complements my style of play nicely and keeps things in balance. I have a strength ring (cannot recall at the moment but it adds 10 damage)- I sometimes switch over to that when I'm playing a hybrid bear.

What level are you? If you're high enough to use 67 DEX and still equip your STR weapons, I'd do that and get a DEX ring. I don't know exactly why, but the dex rings absolutely are the BEST. You can bump 10 armor plus a few extras, or 10 damage plus a few extras depending on what you'd rather do.

Also, conveniently for us bears, you really need to add DEX to be a good tank. I'm saying this from a almost pure STR bear up until level 53, and I've always been a tank too. The dex gives you a higher hit %, and the hit % determines how well you can tank (ie 75% hit means you only beckon/stomp/hell scream, etc 3/4 mobs you try vs having 100%). Learn from my stubbornness and start adding in DEX. You'll be a better tank for it.

If you still wanted to remain pure STR for whatever reason or wanted to get a STR ring then I'd suggest level 20 - Magicians fine iron band. - 20 health (nice for tanking, 2% hit (you'll need all the hit % you can get), 4 damage (since yours will be lowest of all characters).

Just remember, to be a good tank, pure STR is the worst thing you can use, and it's a sad reality :(. I hope the devs change it to be in line with the other two classes and give us some more damaging weapons, but until then, you gotta roll with the punches.

Well, ive decided to get to full str till 173 str then start pumping dex. Thanks for the advice. Also, i ran out of free offers an only have 5 platinum V.V lol.

Just to repeat what Duped already said: dex rings! :-)

I use
- Acrobat's Fine Golden Band for extra dodge and armor needs
and
- Fine Platinum Band of Bravery for higher crit and damage.
