Huh? I thought we were able to get 142/142?

Hi all!
I am MAlandM if you don't know me already and I was wondering something, I saw someone with 127/127 at lv51 (Dual Bear) and I was wondering... How can someone get up to 142/142 at lv55, let alone lv56?

My calculations:
127+5=132 (at lv52) STR
132+5=137 (at lv53) STR
137+5=142 (at lv54) STR

127+5=132 (at lv55) DEX
132+5=137 (at lv56) DEX

???

How is it possible for someone to get 142/142 at level 55? Or even level 56?
Please explain.

if i used a dual dexchantress, with 2 base dex and 7 base int, i could reach 142dex/142 int at lv56

as for bear... 7 base str, 2 base dex. same thing

im not going to bother counting up stat points, i will only use the info i currently have at me: my current base stats and the initial base stats.
for a dual pally, i would only be able to do 141/142 but with a dexmage i can do 142/142 (since at 55 i already have 139/139) since the starting base stat is one more for dex than str.

same thing with a dual dex/str bear, with 7 str and 2 dex. just take it as a fact if your math is wrong.

nono, we mean as stats alone, so that with boosting you can equip any item (such as a wand/shield combo)

Ok... The guy started off with 127/127/1 at lv51. Between lv51 and 55, you get 20 points to spend right (5 points per lvl)? 127+15=142, 127+5=132 at lv55...? All I require is some explaning please. If you can't help me, I just wonder how you're a guardian...

this was me at lv50, not 51. remove a int and put on str and i have 127/127 as you said.
at lv56 the most i will get to is 141/142 since the base stats are 1 for str and 7 for int.
if i used dex intead of int tho i would have one more base stat, therefore getting to 142/142.
so, a dual str/dex bear with 7 str and 2 dex CAN get to 142142.

so yes, i AM saying you are wrong.
I'm guessing you are leaving behind 5 points

He probably still had 5 unused skill points. At lvl 51, you have 260pts, and since he is only showing 255, that is the only explanation. He just hadn't spent the +5 points from hitting lvl 51 yet.

Those were his Level 50 points and he hadn't applied the 5 from level 51 yet.

Bear starts with 7/1/2. 50 times 5 is 250 at level 51. Then add 120 to Str to bring it to 127, leaves you 130. Add 125 to Dex to bring it to 127, leaves you 5. Those are the 5 points from level 51. Therefore, he didn't use his level 51 points before shooting that screen cap.

My mage is 55. Can have 142 dex and 137 int. 5 more into int when I hit 56 making it 142/142. So it is possible.

Sidenote: Disrespecting Arterra isn't gonna get you anywhere. Guardians are players that TRY to help people. They're normal players, it doesn't mean they know every little thing about this game. He tried helping you. You could be greayful, no offense.

Just cause I love math here it is. When dual specing a dex/int mage or str/dex bear you start with 9 total stats in both skills at lvl 1. Then take 55 times 5 and you get 275. Add 9 to 275 and you get 284. 284/2= 142. YAY we did it. We just figured out blues clues, we just figured out blues clues....

But one thing left unsolved:
Look at his experience at lv51, he has quite a lot. Doesn't this show that he might have spent the points already? I mean, it only takes me 1 minute to realise I have some points to spend. Or maybe he respecced to get those stats so he can explain in his thread? Because think about it, what will u use the 5 points for atm? I think he didn't spend the 5 points to explain his thread properly, right?

No, I said I got 142/142 at 56. No one said you could do it at 55 that I can see in this thread :D I said I had 138/141 at 55, and then got 5 more points at 56, THEN was at 142/142. You must be lvl 56 to have 285 attribute points.

And as far as the 127/127 he had at 50, he just hadn't spent the points yet. Physiologic did the same thing sometimes, to test things. Or like you said, he had respecced and had not spent all the points yet. You are overanalyzing this and confusing yourself ;)

The guide was aimed at level 50 players, not 51, which is why I hadn't spent those extra five points.
