Best birthday present ever!!!!

Ok, so I really hate my job at Chick-fil-A. WELL. There is this new place called Yoforia that my friend just got a job at and I applied... I just had my interview and the owner/operator seemed really excited about me. We really just had a good conversation, nothing super formal. He is so COOL. Yoforia is a super modern frozen yogurt shop that sells all natural frozen yogurt made from scratch at the store. They cut fresh fruit every day for toppings and have tons of other toppings. They play loud pop music and the uniform is a Yoforia t-shirt, hat, and whatever shoes/bottoms you damn well please. I'M SO EXCITED. My birthday is on Monday and this is the best present I could have asked for. I'm a shoe-in for the job.

And can I just tell you how refreshing it is to see someone your age wanting to work and willing to work someplace they hate in order to be employed and then getting excited about this new opportunity? I have kids (I help my students find work...I run career center) who I've told I can get them a job at Starbuck's and they refuse because they "don't like the smell of coffee". Here's to new adventures!
