a level up/down question

Ok so i have already made many threads bouyt questions regarding the expansion as I haven't played it and I'm new to it so here's another one :
Should I lv up before event or after it?cause I doubt if the items of event will be good at lv46 I will have to sell my expansion items and which might decrease in value and I might won't add up the sum of money required for lv46 items so should I lv up before or after the event?
Also plz tell me what is the xp required to lv up from 45 to 46 ?
I'm new to expansion plz help me

i believe its 9,240 exp from lv45 to lv46.

If the event is running.... run the event. You can farm the craftable energy from WT4 or KT4 if you're out of energy and level at the same time. Or if there are portals, farm portals while leveling.

You only get 3 energies per how ever many hours, so there will be downtime if you don't have them saved or buy them.

If you have time before the event, try to use it to cap.

If there are 2 weeks before event...of course I'll lv up but will the items/weapons of eventevent be better than expansion?
