Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7

Does anyone use this tablet to play AL? If so, how is the performance?

I currently have an iPad Mini 2, but my sister is taking this one from me. I would go get a new iPad, but I want to wait until the Fall when the new ones come out. So I want to get something temporary in the meantime to play AL and the screen on my phone is just too tiny.

I see I can buy the Fire HD 7 for only $139. The HDX is $40, but I'm thinking that may be overkill if my only use is to play AL. I'll probably sell it used on eBay in a few months when I get the new iPad.

If anyone plays AL on this tablet, please comment on the performance. Thanks!

Yep, we use it as our primary devices for playing. Haven't had any issues with it so far (been using it for half a year or so).

Just remember that with the the Fire, you're tied into the Amazon store. Arcane Legends is in the Amazon store, so not a problem if that i the only game you want to use it for.
If you want something that is in the Google Play store however, you're outta luck since there is no 'reliable' way of getting it to work on the Fire (pretty much hit or miss right now).
