Ursoth's Assault

The day has finally arrived! Ursoth's Assault will begin this week! The horrible troll Ursoth has unknowingly allowed an Orc Blood Shaman...Bloodgrub...to enter Elondria through one of his portals. Bloodgrub has dealt in dark magic her whole life and is terrified of the afterlife. She now wanders Elondria with a recently resurrected Ursoth, capturing Unicorns to use their essence to achieve true immortality.

Save the unicorns, fight the bosses and return Elondria once again to it's peaceful and secluded self.

Also, keep an eye out for a brand new forum contest starting tomorrow afternoon, where you'll have a chance to win your very own GOLD TYRANNICA--a pet only available through this contest and the Ursoth's Assault leaderboards.

Hi all,

Recently, I posted some information related to the upcoming Mythic gear earned through Elite content in a forum thread. In the interest of making that info more readily available, we've decided to move the information to its own thread and sticky it. In the future, we plan to avoid revealing this type of info in random posts and leave it for weekly or feature announcement posts.

Since we now have an entire post dedicated to this, I figure I'll provide a little more info as to how players can acquire this gear.

Firstly, as I'm sure you can guess, you'll be running Elite content to acquire the items necessary to craft this gear.
Like the Legendary gear, acquiring the Mythic gear will occur through a quest chain that must be completed in order.
The Mythic quests come after the Legendary quests in the chain, so you'll need to complete those quests before you can begin the Mythic quests

You can begin acquiring the items needed for the Mythic quests at any time though (after Elites are released). And most of them are tradeable.

And last, but certainly not least, like the Legendary gear pieces, they will be completely obtainable through gameplay and not require any Platinum purchases.

Keep an eye out for a post from Remiem as we get closer to the release of Elites for more detailed info about these Mythic items.

Elite content is still in the works and will arrive shortly after the Ursoth's Assault event. There's a ton to look forward to!

Bug Fixes

+ HUD Ping now also displays in PvP zones if 'Display Ping on HUD' option is checked.
+ Need More Gems quest now correctly stats that is awards 6 orc tags.
+ Fixed Legionnaire's Insignia description to Orcslaying instead of Depths gear.
+ Fixed a bug that was incorrectly displaying stats, or displaying stats on non-statted items.

This is a major event so it would be nice to have day or two to strategize

Yeah, I think they made that mistake last year at Ursoth's event and so this year they won't say a word until it launches! Sigh, I'm so busy at work nowadays that I'll be lucky to finish the gold/plat tier nevermind even trying for leaderboard! Hopefully the Golden Unicorn will be just a vanity thing like Gold Toor and not OP like SNS! Maybe 1000 tokens = squirrels that have SNS pools XD

I was very patient saving those tags so I'm good but I would love to see x2 tag or have bosses start dropping tags and insignia , time to save up for some orc chest

Yeah hopefully it's not the arcane,gold version that has 15% banish and 100%heal on passive as opposed to the legendary version which gives -10% hit on passive lol :P
Jokes aside, we need more info on this event.. This is exactly like the whole mythic set fiasco where mods didnt communicate clearly with us.

But here is where my question lies. With these new idea of GOLD PET AS VANITY. It is slowly getting rid of players that are able to complete the stable to unable to complete stable. Soon there won't be anyone left to have a complete stable.

completing the stable is one individual personal achievement, it's almost like going for maximum AP for leaderboard. when new content release there are new AP and EVERYONE is able to obtain it. But this new gold pet isn't for everyone sighhhh.

Basically anyone that win this contest and without sns will charge a fortune to those with sns because they know we want it to complete the stable.

Using a gold limited edition pet as leaderboard prize is just wrong and it's basically a vanity as it has same state like the unicorn which we will get. Hell PUT SNS as leaderboard prize is better then this golden pet vanity.

This is why Trophy pets are never a good idea, its shunt the rest of the players from obtaining/collecting if they didn't make it to the leaderboard.


Anyway, looks like they put effort on the pet design and background story. Great job for that STS.

As I was I told by SnS owners countless times before, you will have to run the event to get the pet, or if it's in egg form, pay a fortune.

If you can't afford to buy the pet and don't have time or money to run for it, that is when you go stand around guild castle saying "I need gf" or "I need bf" until you find someone rich to buy it for you in exchange for some bawdy chat. ;)

Crate bug. We sometimes get a single lix that is applied directly to our toon. Nothing in inventory and only a single lix. Pretty annoying when you spend 15 plat a pop.
