Yeah it's been around for ages, yet STS hasn't deemed it important enough to fix :/

S1 bugs are the best! This one is a true legend. It's been reported numerous times too, I can add it up though.

They still drop so they have never fixed it. Unlike the warrior glitched helm that didn't drop anymore that was fixed.
