View Full Version : [Suggestion] "Lend" option in trade screen

It would be cool to be able to lend items to friends without fear of them keeping it forever. How about a "lend" option in the trade screen. You could choose a duration for the loan time or an "until logout" option - which would have an auto-return function from say a stash, maybe?

Just a fun little idea that I've seen in other MMOs.

On this case, sts should allow the item go back to your inventory automatically, and also make the item untradeable for the person who borrowed it.

This would eliminate the need for insurance when buying paras. I love it.

Actually, if I were the lead designer for this system, I would not allow lender items to be gemmed by the borrower. Imagine lending a 3x para mythic bow to a friend, only to get it back with cracked water jewels.

Then sts will add something to the system were the person who was lent the item can not tinker or mess with the Item like selling in auction it won't be possible because sts could put the item on Non-Tradable and for putting in different jewels it will say something "you can not socket jewels/gems into a lent item" :)
