With the forum upgrade on 5/5/2011 we introduced a new Mobile forum style.

If you want to check it out, click the style drop down changer and choose "Mobile". To change back, you can click to "Full Site" on the bottom.

Please use this thread for feedback on the new Mobile Style.

I feel such a noob right now. I can't seem to find the 'style drop down changer' anywhere. It's not because I'm using an iPad right?

Edit: ow nvm... I found it in the bottom left. Looks sweet!

Using it as we speak, much better!

I'll definitely be using the mobile feature now on my phone :)

I tried it on my phone, and it definitely is way more readable :)

Is there a way to get a list of new posts in this mobile interface, or am I just being a complete noob again?

Hmm, very sleek looking indeed. Quite nice

I like how the writing box expands :D

Issue:
I don't see a edit button, and we all sorely miss the what's new button...

Also, what about having images automatically resize themselves to smaller versions and can be clicked to see it full size?
Would make it much more mobile, reduce loading time for big png images.

Just noticed that the latest poster in a thread doesn't show too, using iPhone.

It just says "Today By (time)".

GASP!

no signatures :(
Why not have them on, just not viewable on mobile?

I also notice that it no longer says posted on mobile device... Minor issue.

Me likey! They look great and the transitions are slick. Possibly may cause things to lag a little though. Typing didn't lag on the old skin with the simple reply boxes - it's really bad at the moment on this one. I'm using the stock browser on an HTC Desire HD so it shouldn't struggle. Oh, perhaps the font size could be reduced a tad - it feels a bit zoomed in at the moment. :-)

Glad to see that the mobile interface is getting some attention, I use it exclusively.
Recommendations :
Link to view new posts
Link to user profile
Optimize the loading speed
Indicate who started a thread
Allow a visitor to subscribe to a thread (pointless without user profile link)

I changed my settings to use the mobile version by default. Now when I go back to full site mode to change my settings again I get the message that I can't access my settings through the mobile mode... I thought when I clicked full site, I was no longer in mobile mode. How do I get back to my settings?

Hey check out the button at the top right, the one that looks like a bunch of boxes. It gives us mobile users access to our profile and notifications and a bunch of helpful stuff! This wasn't working for me earlier but it is now!
