Is there a simple equivalence in different buffs? Like, does +10% armor equal you receiving 10% less damage?

No no. Its not that simple. There is an analysis of armor in AL Player Guide. Go check it there.

The analysis by itself is not clear though on armor, because it scales per level and based on % damage reduction and not a common difference between damage and defense. Example: I have 200 damage and my enemy have 300 defense. His defense for example is equivalent to 50% damage reduction reflecting by his level. So the damage against him will only be half.
