so i just started AL, looks pretty good. I come from PL, so i'm not used to the AL game-style. I made a mage and i'm loving it so far, but a lot of players told me that mages suck at pvp, is that true? And does anyone have any tips on mage builds? And what are the most important passives for mages? Thanks :o

Mage forums best place to get class advice. They are good in pvp but of you are going end game you need top gear which everyone has by now.
Passive: int, dex, critical, might all max. Skip dmg it gets overridden by your pet, unless you use something like deary.

For a low lvl mage, i would suggest
Fireball 4/5 w/o scorch
Timeshift 3/5 w/o the first 2 upgrades
Lifegiver (until your lvl 30+) only 2nd upgrade
Icebolt 3/5 w/o the first 2 upgrades
As for PvP, you just need skill and good gear to be pro.
PvP skills for endgame
Fireball 4/5 w/o scorch
Lightning 5/5 (optional)
Lifegiver (must) 5/5 (first upgrade is optional)
Arcane shield (must) 4/5 w/p push back upgrade

Thanks you both for the help! Just wondering, i read some threads and it seems like rogues are the best at endgame for farming. So i'm also gonna make a rogue, what build should i use for pve? Thanks again :o

For pve, i would use
Peirce (must) 1/5 health upgrade is optional
Aim shot (MUST) 5/5 this is how you will farm mages and other rouges ;)
Noxious bolt (dont need in pvp) the 1st, 3rd, and 4th upgrade
Razor shield (optional) 1st, 3rd, and 4th upgrade
For pvp endgame
Shadow peircer (must) 2nd upgrade only
Aim shot (must!!!) 5/5 have fun farming mages and rouges lol
Razor shield (must and at the same time, optional) 1st upgrade (optional) 3rd, and 4th upgrade (must)
Heal packs (big must) 5/5
