I am currently pretty much maxed out, with the exception of having multiple para gems. Although I have what would be considered the best gear available not a single one of those items is lvl 46. The expansion was released 2.5 months ago and yet there is still nothing lvl 46, which would be considered best in slot!?

Well, in this regards the current peak of inactivity in the game is quite understandable. I really hope that sts reconsiders their itemisation plan, so that we have something to work towards.

P.S. not recoloured vanities and weapons with "fake" damage. Thank u for your consideration!

I would argue that that the level 46 mythic helmet is superior to any of the imbued helmets if you have the right gems for it.

I know this isn't a level 46, but the level 43 mythic armor is potentially better than any imbued (the level 46 myth armor lacks crit and - unless you have paras in your stash - lacks damage). And of course the level 43 belt is an upgrade.

Yes, most people are. Fact is though that their next upgrade atm is lvl 41 or lvl 43. Not lvl 46. The craftable mythic set is , unless u happen to have a para in your stash and 30-35 million for eyes, a big downgrade.

If it were better those imbued would not be, except for the will version, so hard to find ;).

Anyway my point is, that it is not healthy for the players' motivation to log in and actually play the game, that the best in slot items are the old ones, the ones they either already have, or have troubles finding (cause people just don't sell them) whilst the new lvl 46 items are inferior. I am not saying that they are totally bad, but they are not as good as the old ones, which imho does not make much sense.

L46 helm and body are worth the crit trade off for extra damage and armor if same or higher quality gems are used comparing to imbued (as long as you watch your crit rate). Is it worth the cost/time to upgrade though for the average player? No, not really.

This is turning into a discussion about the mythic set. I was talking about all lvl 46 gear. I do agree that the helm and the armour might be an acceptable, albeit marginal, upgrade if u have the same or better gems/jewels. Nevertheless the cost of that is enormous (current prices). Is it worth it to get 250-300 armour and 25ish damage at the cost of 15ish m and lose 4-5% crit? Probably not.

Anyway, I am talking about lvl 46 gear generally, not the mythic set in particular. Well lets hope we can at least get some new weapons soon.

If u r not using a single eye gem and u r planing to use body and helm only (lv46mythic) u will lose massive critical rate which is very important to a rog, not to mention lower mana pools etc, 5-10 dmg diff for 5-10% critical isnt worth in my nab opinion

It's a matter of taste. I would take +2%-5% crit than slightly more dmg.

I agree with this. I am using all the "fake" lvl 46 pinks and they are worse than older gear. Yes, I agree, some (I repeat - some) of the components of the new mythic set look better, but that's it. Everything else is totally meh.
