There should be a setting in auction that prevents people from being able to list stuff for only 1 gold less than than the lowest bid....... You should only be able to post an item cheaper than the lowest bid if it's at least 500-1000 gold less (of course with certain stipulations)...

You list something for say 70000 gold (which is already a good price for the item, Note: no specific item in question, just examples) and then some genius comes in behind you and lists the same item for 69999, then someone else comes in and lists the same for 69998, then 69997, then 69996, then 69980, ETC.... Where is the sense in jamming the auction like this?????

Well, I'd prefer those who undercut each other for 1 gold, than those who do for 500k+...

Well imo posting items with 1 gold cheaper is fine at items below 100k.For items 100k+, i'd say at least 5-10k.

Well if im listing an item worth of 2m for example* i wouldn't less 1 gold i would rather less like 30k cuz someone will just go down higher than 1 gold. LoL.. And listing fee is too expensive.

That's just the way it is >.< I list many items 1 gold less, especially if it's an item that I know will sell fast (event kits during events).

I see what you are saying.... Some items do sell fast and the 1 gold difference doesn't matter, but some items don't sell fast or they have like a bottom line price based on auction activity that people don't wanna pay much more for and when you list something for that bottom line price you begin to get numerous people (like 10-20) who all start listing that same item for 1 gold less than the lowest price at the time of their listing and next thing your item ends up getting stuck in the middle, all because of 1 gold....

500-1000 less gold would leave players with the option to either match the lowest bid, or take the risk of selling it for 500-1000 gold less than the lowest/bottom line price....

I've always paid the extra gold to people who are undercutted. For example, the Butt Spanker of Fartality is listed in the auction for 9,000,000 and also 8,999,999 and 8,999,998. Id buy the one for 9,000,000.
