Event Bar Not Moving?

The event has been live for 6hours already, and I know a lot of people have already used up effigies. But the bar doesn't seem to be moving one tiny bit lol. It seems to be too much work for merely 24 HOURS of King Northal.

This event will happen multiple times....
Think of this as a player achieved expansion..... But the expansion is only 24 hours long and can be repeated multiple times....

Yes, I'm aware that it's a cyclical event. However it would be quite hard for some people to be able to log and play the event if it's going to happen only once a week. I'll wait and see how much progress is made in 24 hours lol. I was just worried it might be a bug or what.

we chewed through the expansion community event WAY faster than they expected, so I reckon they'll make it take longer. I'm sure the target number can be adjusted in either direction if required.

Oh that would make more sense then! I have yet to use and Orc Effigy. Can devs or anyone else confirm this?

The event is not 24 hrs. I'd assume the event is at least a week, if not a few weeks. The 24-hours is how long the King is awake once he is awakened. After 24 hours, he needs to be woken again.

The new weapons' stat dont look the best. I dont think we will be missing out much there. Unless the proc is super op.

Levels 41-46 can access the Glintstone Caverns. But non-endgamers don't really have a reason to run those maps apart from collecting those effigy ingredients and contributing to the bar.

Let's not forget that a lot of people are running mostly Tombs at the moment. It's normal that the bar isn't filling fast imo.

Hope they put in some goodies that - us at low level can farm or get via this event, if its going to be "cyclical" we at low level can help fill that bar faster so our friends at 46 can enjoy more alone time with our sleep loving buddy Northal. Maybe throw in some Items that are Northal Awakening exclusive such as a shinier version of Twilight Set.

People are farming Planar Tombs for what? Egg Shells that are probably never going to get any use at the rate we're filling up the bar right now lol.

We loved rebuilding Garetta and opening the Valentine portal because there was a SET NUMBER of supplies/potions needed for the community goal. We got that feeling of satisfaction every time we contributed to that number. Now I realize that STS may have set the number of effigies to be opened to a point that it would be a disincentive to see it, hence the bar. However, it's been 46 hours since this event was released but some people cannot even see the bar moving AT ALL lol.

We haven't even gone past the letter "G" in Glintstone Caverns lol. This needs some serious readjustment or else people will lose enthusiasm for this event FAST.

No one is asking for a "right now" event. But at this rate, King Northal will awaken in at least two weeks. For a mere 24 hours. Within that 24 hours, how many hours does one actually play? So you can run the map for an hour or two, depending on your schedule. And then he's going back to sweet slumber. Rinse and repeat.

^^This. If the seed remains the same though, I don't think that 2 weeks will be enough. Tbh for something that is up only 24 hours and thus can easily be missed by many players, the fill-up time of the bar should not be more than 5 days.

I doubt they want ANYONE to complete ingredients in 24hours lol. But we shall see. The Beast Essences are of epic rarity anyway, so expect them to drop more than insignias.

what rarity are vials? It would seem rarty doez not rly matter much for drop rate if u include things like vials. And like it was poi ted out many players may miss the king in that 24 hours then they have 2 wait another 2weeks and hope they dont miss the king aga7n

seems like sts made a blunder, they increase the points needed to unlock them, compared to garetta (which was used to unlock a permanently set of rengol maps)

and they also forgot that there are supplies that can give 5 points each, that made the bar filled even faster... yet there isn't such thing right now

This is so that the drops from the boss can have actual value. So these brilliant undercutters dnt make anything go from 1mil to 1 gold in a 24 hour period.

Yes recently some smart traders have started undercutting by staggering 50%. If that person is followed by 1-2 similarly minded individuals the price suddenly becomes 10% of what it was.

P.S. The bar has now moved visibly. It is at 5%-10% now. This required 4 days. So if it is 10% we would need a total of 40 days for a 24 hours event. If it is 5%.... 80 days.

I don't know about that. 80 days are almost 3 months. In game years/months that is a long, long time. All this wait for something that, allegedly is no scheduled to a for a particular day of the week and has a duration of mere 24 hours. For me personally, if it started on a Tuesday at say 3 p.m. (and end on Wednesday at 3.p.m.), I would certainly have no chance to run even a single run. And then I would have to wait another 80 days. Ofc that is just me. What percentage of the game population would be able to spare more than 1-2 hours to play within those 24 hours?
