Weapon designs should be appropriate for characters with high dexterity (bows, crossbows, spikes, etc.)

Only one entry per person per category.
If you want to change your submission you can go to your earlier submission and edit the post to change to your new submission.

Judging
Entries will be judged by the Spacetime Studios Development Team. Equal weight will be applied to judging your visual design and your written descriptive component, so please spend time on both. You can include details about possible weapon procs or effects in your description. We’ll do our best to recreate those effects in game should you win.

Submission Agreement

This is the agreement of Space Time Studios LLC, a Texas limited liability company located on the Internet at Spacetimestudios.com ("SPACETIME"), and you ("Submitter").

This Submission Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of the date of acceptance, as provided below, by Submitter.

The Submitter desires to furnish SPACETIME with one or more sets of source or object code, API’s, or designs or processes for such source or object code, API’s, DVD/CD-ROM Content, multimedia software, network code, or other audio, graphic, or audio-visual assets (any of the foregoing, jointly or severally, the "Content") for review and consideration for publication by SPACETIME, on, in, or in connection with SPACETIME’s online game now known as “Pocket Legends.”

It is a condition to SPACETIME's acceptance, consideration, and possible publication of the Content that Submitter agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. During the period in which it is considering the Content, SPACETIME shall take its standard steps to keep the Content confidential. SPACETIME agrees to take security precautions of at least the same degree of care that it takes to protect its own similar confidential materials. Notwithstanding the previous two sentences, SPACETIME or any of its affiliates may disclose all or a portion of the Content if requested or required in connection with litigation, civil investigative demand, or similar process.

2. For the purposes of this Agreement, no part of the Content will be treated as confidential, and the requirements set forth in Section 1 above will not apply if it: (a) has previously been independently disclosed to, or developed by, SPACETIME or any affiliate of SPACETIME; (b) was or hereafter becomes part of information made known to the public; or (c) hereafter becomes available to SPACETIME on a nonconfidential basis from a third party which, in SPACETIME's reasonable belief, is not, at the time such material is provided, under any conflicting legal obligation to Submitter.

3. Submitter acknowledges that SPACETIME is engaged in extensive research and development in many areas, including without limitation ongoing development of Pocket Legends and other games and communities, and other content for the consumer marketplace. Submitter further acknowledges that in the course of its business SPACETIME receives from others, including other submitters, its own employees and employees of its affiliates, numerous submissions of concepts, ideas, and designs for Content, and that SPACETIME may have developed or may in the future develop materials, or may have received or may in the future receive submissions of materials, similar or identical to those presented to SPACETIME by Submitter. Submitter understands that Submitter will not be entitled to any recognition or other consideration for any submitted materials nor will Submitter be entitled to recognition or consideration because of the use by SPACETIME or any of its affiliates of any such similar or identical material.

4. In the event that SPACETIME determines, in its sole discretion, that Content provided by Submitter may be added to, integrated into, or otherwise included in Pocket Legends and for related purposes, then Submitter will be deemed to have granted SPACETIME an irrevocable, exclusive, worldwide, royalty free, fully paid, right and license in and to the Content for purposes of use of Content in Pocket Legends, other products or services or SPACETIME, and for institutional purposes for and for the benefit of SPACETIME. The license includes all rights under copyright, and the full right to modify, edit, revise, or otherwise alter the Content. Submitter hereby waives all moral rights he or she may have in and to the Content. The license granted hereunder includes, without limitation, the right for SPACETIME to make derivative works based on or incorporating Submitter’s Content.

5. When and if SPACETIME utilizes Content, it will endeavor to provide recognition of Submitter on it Pocket Legends Internet Site; provided that failure to do so will not be a breach of this Agreement. Consideration of the Content by SPACETIME, and the recognition set forth in this Section, is the sum total of consideration to be provided to Submitter in connection with rights granted herein. SPACETIME will be under no further obligation to enter into a relationship with Submitter; however nothing in this Agreement shall preclude the parties from entering into future negotiations with respect to Content or further services from Submitter. SPACETIME shall have no obligation to return any Content to Submitter.

6. Submitter represents and warrants that (i) all Content is an original work of authorship created by Submitter; ; (ii) Submitter has the exclusive, unconditional right and authority to submit and/or convey to SPACETIME the Content and the rights granted herein, (iii) no use of Content as provided herein by SPACETIME or its designee(s) will infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party; (iv) Submitter has the right and authority to enter into this Agreement with SPACETIME and (v) no outstanding agreements exist, whether written or implied, which are inconsistent with any of the provisions of this Agreement.

7. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas without giving effect to the conflicts of law principles thereof. Any action arising out of this Agreement will be brought only in the State of Federal courts located in Austin, Texas, and Submitter expressly consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the foregoing courts. In addition to any recovery, the prevailing party in any action will be entitled to an award of its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs in connection with any action.

8. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding of the parties. No waiver or modification of any of the terms of this Agreement shall be valid unless in writing and signed by each of the parties hereto.

9. In the event that any provision of this Agreement shall be declared invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the validity or unenforceability of the other provisions of this Agreement, it being hereby agreed that such provisions are severable and that this Agreement shall be construed in all respects as if such invalid or unenforceable provisions were omitted.

10. It is a material provision of this Agreement that Submitter represents to SPACETIME that he or she is over the age of 18 and fully authorized and capable of entering into this Agreement and being legally bound thereby. But for Submitter making this foregoing representation to SPACETIME, SPACETIME would not enter into the Agreement with Submitter.

ACCEPTED AND AGREED UPON BY SPACETIME.

BY POSTING IN THE THREAD BELOW, SUBMITTER AGREES TO BE FULLY BOUND BY THE FOREGOING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Description: Deep in the forges of the birds there were two daggers created both different looking but both the same power and one day Hawken's cousin Hunken was in the forges and spotted these daggers and got his talons all over them. He decided he wanted to try them out in battle he set up a raid of men for Silknight...(12 days later.) Hawken finds out Hunken was defeated with his own daggers and Silknight kept the daggers for a tophy waiting for another brave soldier to fight her.

P.S. The daggers are on fire and yes they are different looking i was being creative and sorry i dont have anything to color with and i spent alot of time on this and i have no comp or money on itunes so i cant get picture enchancers.

i though id give you some background on my weapon

its a FURNACE, that basically shoots balls of fire that act as frag grenades
they will do little damage, have a slow speed, but have a HUGE AEO area

This bow is composed entirely from the souls of brave elves, bears and birds that Silknight and her followers destroy. Each death, and each soul taken, becomes another arrow that pierces right through to the enemy's core and rips the soul right out of his body. With this bow, she turns her enemies into her greatest weapon. It gets stronger with each soul taken, giving her an unstoppable army.

This is Sliknight’s Twin Daggers of Stealth
When the time was drawing near for Silknight to reveal herself as traitor to the land of Alterra, she began to wear hidden daggers under her sleeves. Upon stealing the orbs of nature she imbued these daggers with a little of the fiery essence drawn forth from the orbs. To this day she keeps these powerful daggers hidden, using them on those that betray her.

Disclaimer: I do not, and have never claimed, to know how to draw well. So when looking at this please keep that in mind. Also, I didn’t go into a lot of detail b/c I didn’t want to detract from the main design with my horrible detailing skills.

2H weapon. 8 PL meter range. Speed 1.0. Damage - I leave it to you to decide. AoE - Firestorm effect.

Originally given to Silknight as a plaything when she was but an witchling, she perfected her skill with it over the years using it on birds and insects. Through experimentation, she had used a bit of her own magic to fortify each pallet to do more and more damage, as her skills grew.

When she captured the Orbs of Nature, her first trial was to imbue her favourite slingshot with the orbs' energies. She was so successful with it that each pallet fired from her slingshot carried enough magic to explode upon contact, engulfing its target and all around it with searing flames, causing massive destruction, without using any of her latent magical abilities. News spread of this terrible weapon. Very soon, the sight of it sticking out of her robe pocket sent both friend and foe alike flying for the hills.

when silknight was in a battle with the legendary bow man,a sudden explosion happened when silknight blasted hard.the bow flew off and landed on the floor,burned.blue non luminous flame started wrapping itself on the bow and red glowing things were formed on the bow.silknight held the bow and shot the legendary archer to death in just one shot.it was then lost when one of her followers accidentary threw it down an abyss of flames and the bow was never seen again until it few up from the abyss to a amatuer archer.

History: Looking back, was it just that feeling of home, or that six sense acquired a sorcerer school that compelled her to bring along that old skull. It would be the last time she'd see her house, she knew that, and the young Silknight decided she'd take along at least one memory. In her journeys south, to the ocean, she would come upon a small forest, where she'd make her home. Surrounded by mercenaries and her controlling husband, she is forced to kill new travelers as her only form of entertainment.

Description: Long ago, when Silknight was just beginning to gain her vast amounts of power, she was met by another species. Silknight felt threatened by these strangers, and tried to rid of them. But these other-worldly dwellers were far more superior than she could have ever imagined, for they carried a weapon that destroyed everything in its path. This weapon is what drove Silknight crazy. Day after day, and night after night, Silknight longed for the power of this all-mighty weapon. Many seasons later, the war between the other life-forms was becoming ever increasingly slower, until one night, they disappeared. Silknight was stunned at her loss of gaining the weapon of her dreams, or so she thought. That night, an explosion pierced the calm air, and a fierce light swept through the sky. Silknight sent her henchmen to find out the source of the event. Soon after, they came running back to the encampment, telling of the weapon that Silknight had desired for so long. As she arrived to the massive crater, she felt a raging heat being given off from the center. When she peered closer, she could see the glint of unknown metal. Silknight forced her henchmen to carefully remove the scorching weaponry out of the earth. Her first thought was of testing out its power, but as she studied it's exterior, she realized how intricately it had been crafted. She had no idea how to make it work. She tried pushing every button, and turning every knob, but nothing happened.... until now.... Present day- Silknight had finally figured out how to control the alien machine, and she was terrorizing Forest Haven. Using her weapon, she had captured Forest Haven's sacred orbs of nature.

(Sorry about the story. I know that it kind of strays from the topic, but I got totally carried away.)

Out of frustration, Silknight used the last of the nature orbs to fuel her latest weapon of mass destruction. The skull came to life and became uncontrollable, until it fell on the hands of a gentle avian. Not willing to give up without a fight, Silknight gathered all of her minions for a last ditch attempt to take over Alterra. Silknight fought to no avail, as her forces stood no chance against her own creation. Little did she know that the spirit of the beast within the bow could only be tamed by those pure of hearth.

Info: The Bow itself is made out of fire itself. The Grip is woven from special leather. The string crafted from Silknights hair.
Arrow has a burning skull on the end and a very dangerous blade of fire on the other end.
Silknight's Value for it: Silknight was given this bow long ago by a stranger who is now long dead. She cherished it and began using it to cause havoc in Alterra.
Silknight was betrayed by her closest friend who then hid the bow from her and has never been found since.

Description: In the Darkest corner of Forest Haven lives a creature so vile and dangerous, Silknight only dares approach it with the power of the sacred Orbs of Nature. This dragon has been conquered and the thorny vine appendages which covered its body have been enchanted and fashioned into gruesome fiery weapons of doom by the evil witch Silknight. Only the strongest may wield these weapons, as they have been known to take over control of the user and destroy them. A long range fiery thorn weapon infused with the energy of the sacred Orbs of Nature. This Launcher fires blue flaming thorns at your enemy.


Proc: "Flame on" a Spire of Blue flames engulfs your target for a set amount of time doing additional damage (can be cured with healing)

Written description of the weapon: Long ago there was a wise aged man. This man had much wisdom, many disciples, and predicted the whole future of Alterra, little did he know he was 100% right. He predicted "A hellish dragon will overrun this land and one hero will step up slaying this dragon. Years after the wise old man passed away his prediction came true. A dragon overran the land and one hero stepped up. This hero was named Cinco The Crazy One. Cinco with all his strength climbed up to the dragon's cave, on top of what is today's Mt. Everest, and slayed the dragon that the whole land feared. He skinned the dragon and cut off the head to prove the dragon was no more of a problem. At night he had no use for the dragon's skin or head so he decided to make a weapon out of it. It took him many days and nights to accomplish it, but after 3 weeks it was done. The Dragon's Breath Bow came to live shooting fire balls up to 5,000 degree Fahrenheit and Cinco was the only person in Alterra that owned the strong powerful weapon. He used it for good and fight off all evil, but after he passed away he decided to pass it down to his son, asommers. Asommers is now the wielder of the Dragon's Breath Bow and is following his dad's footsteps protecting the land.

Description:
Silknight's top minions are known to be great assassins, but to further enhance her dex army she looked towards the speed of the talon weapon. Conjuring up her dark energy she transfered some of her power into a custom made talon. Just before the seal had been shut on this enchanted weapon, she added more power from the Orbs of Nature that she recently captured. As Silknight held the talon, she could feel the concoction of power in the weapon slowly leech off of her life. She smiled at this and decided to have one of her pawn dex minions test it out. Before this servant could throw the device he was already on the floor exhausted. So she gave it to one of her elite minions instead, who handled it with ease in the next battle, and reported the augmented damage to be to his liking. So from then on this talon was a weapon of choice for her skilled assassins, with both increased speed and damage the weapon was intimidating to any foe they faced.

Her henchmen like speed and the noticeable increase in damage. But only the experienced can wield such a weapon during an entire battle.


Appearance:

There aren't that many different talon/spike models in the game right now and I thought this design would be a great addition, not too complex, not too simple, and room for alteration.

Talon/spike has a dark, bat-like appearance [leech] with a crystal holding a mix of dark and nature energy. Glowing is meant to show leech effect and additional power.


Why:

The Bloodline Sapsucker would is great for the Forest Haven realm because the small drain of health could make a dramatic effect at this level of combat.

Raged in fury, Silknight swore she would get revenge and planned to kill the birds with what they killed her apprentices with. After many weeks, Silknight had created a deadly crossbow that shot fire balls fused together with the necromancers teeth. This combination was absolutely devastating! Silknight and a pair of undead archers attacked the small band of birds with their new weapon, leaving no feather behind. The sweet bitter taste they got from vaporizing the birds into dust with the crossbow made it a very popular weapon used by Silknight and her minions because of its sheer force...

Description:The evil witch Silknight has harnessed the Mighty power of the Sun,she has managed to combine the ancient Solar power with a modern weapon....the Shotgun! The heat of the sun originally proved too great,and the long barrels of the gun melted. The barrels were sawed off, and the Sawed-off Sun Slinger was born, producing a more powerful blasting weapon that causes incredible fire power from close range, but also spreads it's shot causing damage to multiple opponents at a greater distance. The gun still bears scars from captivating such immense heat, both barrels of the gun glow red hot (cue some cool glowing effects courtesy of Spacetime) and the wooden barrel grip has been reduced to charcoal (more glowing ember effects and a little black smoke). Molten Sun drips from the barrels when the gun is not being fired.

Various shotgun shells have been developed for use with this weapon, but by far the most successful are the 'Solar Flare Shells'. Silknight captures Solar Flares as they leap from the Burning Ball of Hydrogen and encases them within the shotgun shells. They are discharged from the gun as a ball of flame, along with white hot pieces of shrapnel that burn through anything they come into contact with.

The evil Silknight had great powers, some of us could only dream of. But Alterra had too many soldiers, so he couldn't take them out one by one. He was unpleased with himself, so he decided to call all his scientists, and all his wises to create a newer, greater and different weapon from all other.
They worked on this weapon day and night for years. But they just couldn't find a way to put all the powers of the orbs of nature together. But one day something terrible happened to Silknight, he and his people left this "bomb" and the orbs in a cave and went to rest in their nearby tents. As soon as night fall, they heard a BAAAAANNNGG, so loud that, their whole body was shacking. They run out of their tents, and what they saw, was that flame was erupting out of the cave. Ofcourse they started to extinguish the fire at ones, but they couldn't. Than there was an other loud BAAAAANNNNGG and something shiny red flew out of the cave, it landed on the ground, right in front of Silknight. There it was, the bomb they couldn't create for ages, it was red, shiny and deadly.

P.S.:
This weapon is a thrown weapon. Which explodes uppon impact, and its explosion looks just like any fire staffs explosion, the only difference is, that this weapon will have AOE damage, with a small radius, just like blast shot at lvl1 (blast shot = bird skill).
(If you guys don't understand what I mean, buy an "Alien staff" and aim at two mobs really close each other.)

Unbeknown to Silknight and her minions, the Orbs of Nature's purity can never be fully corrupted, and the weapons she has created to arm her army, have a hidden secret. When created each weapon has a secret ability to be re-crafted using special rare gems which can be found around Forest Haven and the surrounding areas. There are several different types of rare gems which, when crafted, each award a different special bonus to the host weapon. Each base weapon can only be re-crafted once, with one single gem. Silknight and her minions have no knowledge of this special ability that has been bestowed on these weapons by the Orbs of Nature, so if your lucky enough to come into possession of one of these base weapons, lets keep it that way.

ITEM NAME: Enkindled Crossbow of Nature

The design i've chosen has much to do with my lack of drawing skills but also it is actually meant to be fairly simple, as these are lvl10 weapons. The base weapon comes with no orb/gem at the end of the weapon, but it can be crafted with any of the crafting gems (Power Gem, Hawkeye Gem, Gladiator Gem, Presto's Gem, Focus Gem & Magic Gem) to give the host weapon a small specific bonus. I think this will positively introduce crafting to new and low level players and add not only a new weapon for each class but a reason to collect more than one.

The crafted weapons will be an entirely different weapon instance, but the same model with a coloured orb/gem in the empty space of the base weapon. When re-crafted the orb/gem will be appropriately coloured to match the appropriate Gem used. The additional stats would clearly be related to the Gem used. I haven't included my thoughts on the actually exact numbers as I'm not sure what weighting should be attributed, but I suspect something like 1-2 M/S or H/S, or 1-2 Armour or 1-2 STR/INT/DEX, or 1-2 Hit%, or 1-2 Crit%. Finally the naming of the newly crafted weapon would follow the same theme as the host name and the gem used. So, Enkindled Sword of Natural Power, Enkindled Crossbow of Natural Focus & Enkindled Staff of Natural Magic.

Those wonderful days spent with her family, all descended from the great shaman healer tribe that helped to found Alterra. She could see the great family crest, The Caduceus, with its gilded wings and double serpants, as it hung above the fireplace. She remembered the day she had proven her loyalty to Alterra and its people and was granted her magical staff, sword, and daggers that were the mark of all Legendary Healers in Alterra. Her own family crest forged into each of these glorious weapons and each with a shimmering magical orb hovering around it giving it the ability to heal whomever wielded the weapon.
This sublime dream never lasted though...it was always broken by the reality of how far she had fallen from that glorious pennacle. Fitfull nightmares followed...blackness swirled around her mind as she saw images of that fateful day, the day of her life-changing betrayal by the Prince. She remembered the day that the heir to the throne of Alterra, now known as the Fallen Prince, had robbed her of her idealic life. She could see the mistakes she had made in trusting his professions of love and loyalty to her. She could now see clearly that he had no love for anything but himself and gold. His greed was the catalyst for her enslavement to the darker side of Alterrra. The memory of the day the Prince had sold his love for her to the great malicious beast GoldFever for the promise of immeasurable wealth and glory came to her. That was the day she swore to never love again...not him...not Alterra...not even herself. Maybe that is why she had no qualms about selling her soul to GoldFever in return for the recipe to transform her weapons healing orbs into Fiery Orbs of Destruction and for his assistance in making the Prince and his people pay the ultimate price for her betrayal. The eyes of the skulls that were added to each weapon as a mark of her transition to the dark side of Alterra and they eyes of the entwined serpants of her family crest began to glow bright and hot. She laughed quietly to herself as she pictured their feverish attempts to figure out the secret combination of attacks that would leave her fiery orbs icy and cold...so rarely did they figure it out...

Over time as each evil tyrant died a part if their ribcage became intertwined with the crossbow giving it greater power than any other in silknight's domain. Silknight fights to protect this crossbow to keep the name of evil strong, and also to ensure her own ribcage does not join the weapon's powet before she is ready to pass the crossbow on to a rightful heir. Silknight risks life and limb to control the relm in which she lives, and to bring it under her curse.

There was a message sent out from Malik Museum looking for new items to display. When Silknight was looking threw things to send. Silknight found a box hidden in the back. When Silknight opened the box. Silknight found 3 new weapons. Silknight tried to use the Unknown Bow first. It did not fire. Silknight called for A Dex henchman. When the henchman fired the bow they noticed it hit more then one target sometimes.
Silknight and the henchman had no idea what it was. They sent it to the museum to see if anyone knew of this Unknown Bow.

Background:
Here lies the infamous and elusive Forest Fire Bow of Doom. The evil witch Silknight, residing in the depths of Forest Haven, had the ultimate goal of imparting her evil will upon all of Alterra. In order to accomplish this twisted feat she and her minions captured Forest Haven’s sacred Orbs of Nature and corrupted them with her magic.

Calling upon her favorite element Fire, she bent and twisted the Fire orb's energies around the very fabric of the forest around her. It's once lush vegetation was transformed into something very different, very powerful, and very evil. She wrapped the flaming energy around a once seemingly innocuous wooden forest bow. The weapon, once green with life, aged almost immediately and began to turn brown and wither as the corruption moved from the center region to its upper and lower limbs. As the twisted energy approached the tips a roaring fire sprang fourth and charred the tips of the bow in a fiery erruption. Thus, the evil Silknight's Forest Fire Bow of Doom was born. It is a constant reminder to those who oppose her will that she possesses the power to twist and corrupt the beautiful, living faction of Alterra into something infinitely more terrible.

Inspiration:
The inspiration for this came from the idea of Silknight twisting the living into a fiery oblivion, as can be seen from the transition of the bow from its lush handle to its charred, flaming tips. The flaming string was added to my concept art for effect but seeing as bows in PL do not contain strings, I believe the flames on each end will suffice.

The idea for the twisted wood and vines with leaves came from the little squares that appear on the level selection screen for Forest Haven, showing leafy twisted vines. Also, I appreciate weapons whose design calls upon the level/region in which they are acquired (such as the rocky looking new gear from sandstone caves) so I tried to incorporate the forest into my design.

Potential Procs:
Some sort of root looking mass would occasionally wrap the target, similar to thorn root, however the coloring of this would make it appear as though on fire. I propose either a non-snaring fire damage-over-time or a short snaring effect (my favorite of the two) similar to thorn root/wall, freeze procs from launchers, etc. as I like both ideas but believe that both may be overpowered.

Description Idea:
Some type of allusion to the famed Smokey the Bear ads of old that read "Only you can prevent forest fires!"

This bow is powered by the souls of Legendary archers which is why it glows. It is made of metal taken from defeated enemies and weilded into a sturdy frame that is lightweight and strong. The point in the middle of the bow is the source of power and arrows are shot out of it. The arrows are then strong and incredibly fast and accurate. The bow is incredilby powerful and when in the wrong hands can cause dangerous concequences. This bow is enchanted.

DESCRIPTION: As a young child, Silknight the Sad was seen as a weak, clumsy elf. She was an outcast of society. So much so, that her parents left her to be cared for by the Towne Caller rather than face the facts that their child was a complete and utter disappointment. So as the legend goes, Silknight came to realize how much of a letdown she had been to her parents, her fellow elves and most of all, herself. Over the years afterward, Siknight planned, and she planned, and she planned until finally, she was ready. She set off with belongings from her house with all of her belongings. As the legend continues, Silknight traveled afar to prove herself once and for all. Through her travels and wanderings, Silknight met an old, old weaver who lived in the farthest depth of an abandoned Skeleton Crypt. The weaver taught Silknight how to sew together the finest, yet strongest material known to elves, Spiderweb, using her loom and power of the orbs of nature. So to test her new-found skill, Silknight scourged through the woods until she had found plenty of spiderweb to make herself a beautiful bow. She weaved the web together, along with the some fire, given to her by a warlock, and the dust of a Vyxnaar's horn, given to her by a Blacksmith. Once Silknight returned from her journeys, no elf in her towne believed their eyes. Silknight had left sad and weak and had come back a Sorceress. She brought with her three of the most powerful weapons in all of Alterra. This is the story of the Flaming Web of Woe.

Procs: 2-3 second fire proc, Weakness Debuff

-The bow shoots flaming arrows the way the Desert Fire Crossbow does.
-The flames along the side of each side of the character continuously burn, giving off puffs of smoke.
-There is a Vyxnaar Mist around the bow.
-The brown, flaming part on the “BACK” is the string for the bow.
-The web is concave in shape, giving the character more protection from flying arrows and such. (As demonstrated by the extremely simple picture below. The character, of course, is the circle and the lightning bolts represent the flames along the side of the bow.

Since pic isnt showing at the moment,;0 ill try my best to explain it. Its basicly a boomerang on fire. (as in "rang of fire") It will be a 1h dex weapon. Like a talon its a throw weapon. The difference is the rang of fires damage and dps are a little better, but its slower. Boomerangs come back to you so it will hit the enemy, go a short distance farther and hit the enemy again. its a slower weapon, slower then all possibly. In exchange for speed, it hits twice. It also can cause extra fire dmg.

Now ill explain what it looks like since my photos having difficulties. The 'rang of death is a boomerang with red and orange flames coming off of it. Simple design right? :D

Procs: Blindness (instead of the a star animation coming out like with sunblessed bow, smoke billows around the foe. best example is how the pumpkin chunker shows pumpkins breaking against the enemy, just replacing pieces of pumpkin with smoke)
Animation: the bow itself is a flame letting out coils of smoke. it is in constant motion. Shoots out bolts of smoldering smoke, in the same curvy style as the bow itself, and just as dark.

History: When evil witch Silknight stole the sacred Orbs of Nature, she used its energies to create Legendary Fiery Weapons. One of those weapons being a very powerful fire bow. The bow was made out of sacred Forest Haven Birch, making it very malleable and a wonderful fire energy conductor, since birch is a highly flammable wood due to the natural oil it contains, a property very beneficial to fire weapons once the wood is enchanted not to perish in the flames. It also contained two fire marbles entrenched on both the ends of the bow and, wrapped around the upper part, a live Alterran fire salamander. Alterran fire salamanders are incredibly magical creatures that according to legend are able to feed off and, to some level, control the element of fire. Silknight, having once studied the magical properties of these rare, once thought to be extinct creatures, hunted them down and enchanted them so they would become part of her Legendary Weapons, as a way to enhance their power even more. The fire salamander helps the possessor of the bow channel the fire energy of the stolen Orbs of Nature into shooting the most powerful fire arrows, as the essence stolen from the Orbs is forever entrapped inside the unbreakable glass marbles. The bow is also constantly engulfed in magical flames, burning all but its owner.

This weapon was sent off millions of years ago to undergo testing. During those millions of years this bow has killed millions of lives, enemies and its users. Bonebeak spent his formative days in and around Forest Haven, honing his bow skills and learning the ways of the Warbird. But after learning from Yanis of the possibility of a low level pink Dark Forest Leather Armor, he became obsessed.

For many moons, Bonebeak and his followers could be seen stalking through the forest, hunting Silknight and her minions along the Trail of Thieves, tearing through them and pillaging the fallen, making a living from the looted bodies.

Enraged, Silknight, after stealing the Orbs of Nature, sought revenge against her enemies, cornering Bonebeak and Grizzlybone down a dead end path along the Trail of Thieves. With stronger weapons and overwhelming numbers, the two warriors were felled by Silknight's armored forces.

Silknight looted the remains, taking Bonebeak's Heavy Crossbow and corrupting it, dark vines of the forest contracting around it, hosting an eternal fire of doom that forever heats the iron arrowheads before firing.

The illuminator got it's name from setting everything in the near vicinity *a blaze. Try as you might there is no way to fight with this weapon in the dark. The evil witch silknight so enjoyed keeping the forest lit up with the burning of the weaker people(birds,bears, and elves) of the forces for good in alterra. Now that it's in your hands enemies tremble at the sight of a growing light in the distance.*

Written description of the weapon: Made from the bones of her fallen comrades, and blessed by the Phoenix, Silknight made the Phoenix Bow in abundace for use by her minions to protect her newfound Orbs of Nature. Ironically, though, Silknight used one of the bows to kill the very Phoenix that blessed them. Capturing its very last breath inside her bow, Silknight created the Phoenix Bow of Extinction.
Other:The fire on the prongs of the bow moves (if possible). The fired arrows are also on fire. This bow has a very good range, too.

This particular boomerang has unique abilities thanks to being flung into the sun by Hades during one of his infamous infernic rampages. Silknight came to own this wicked piece of hardware when it landed near her, bounced twice and decapitated her goody-two-shoes twin Silkwing. Ever since, this boomerang has burned with the power of the sun and has a special place in Silknight’s heart for its ability to annilate all in its painful, arching reach. Its Blue Flame burns with unquenchable heat when in contact with it’s prey…um..target.

Item Description: With a mystic flame, this bow will satisfy your desire for power and destruction.

Item's History: Zhara entrusted this bow to Swift so when he became a better Archer he could end Silknight's reign of destruction. However, he was too headstrong and wanted to win Zhara's respect, so, he pursued the sorceress when he wasn't ready. Out of breath, Swift had ran from the Silknight's servants after they caught him on the outskirts of the camp. He turned a corner and, whilst hopping a fence, the bow slipped from his grip. There was no time for him to retrieve his bow so he continued to run. The servants found Swift's bow, which they carried to the sorceress herself. Meanwhile, Swift ran back to Zhara. Zhara was disappointed that he lost the Clawbow. As punishment, Zhara removed Swift from training and sent him to kill zombies with Hawken. When the Silknight sorceress found out that the bow was originally made to kill her she vowed her enemies would never get it. In time, she treasured this bow for its unique design, magnificent flame, and overwhelming power.

Long ago, there was a world once known as Arterra. A place were everything was peaceful and calm. The utmost darkest green leaves scattered the branches of the trees. Fruit so bright you could hardly look at them for long. And skies the deepest blue you can imagine. A world so beautiful that people from all ends of the galaxy came to see and find out if the stories were true. It was this way for many years, until others from the deepest darkest corners of the galaxy heard about this new found world of Alterra. They came to this world slowly at first. It was after this first wave of attacks that it became clear the need to establish a group of protectors to protect the evil from entering. It was this day 1 of each type of the races inhibiting this world (Bear, Bird, and Elf) were selected and brought forth before the king. He called upon the power of the Nature Orbs and bestowed upon each of us a weapon that had the ability to use and channel the orbs energy. These weapons were known as Wrapped Staff of Nature, Wrapped Sword of Nature, and Wrapped Talon of Nature. It was us selected few that were given magical powers in hopes that we would be able to protect the world. We were known as the Guardians of Alterra.

In the corner of the city known as Forest Haven lived a powerful enchantress known as Silknight who grew angry with the news that she had not been choosen to be a guardian. She became jealous and angry, she started to be drawn towards the dark powers. One by one she started to kill the guardians to obtain these weapons. With her powers she has begun to twist them into fiery weapons of doom. The sword is now known as Wrapped Sword of Doom, the talon Wrapped Talon of Doom...and she is now coming for the staff. Already I sense her coming, drawn towards the energy of the weapon I hold. I no longer have the energy to fight, she will obtain all 3 of the weapons and together with her minions they will destroy the land, and nobody will be able to stop them. You must find her and retrieve these sacred weapons, you are our only chance. You have a long battle ahead of you, but remember...the spirits of the Guardians will always be with you. My time has come to an end, it is up to you now. You must come and fight, before it's too late...

Item Name: Flaming Skull Shot of Doom

Item's History: The bow of Doom himself. Silknight the Sorceress was once in love with Doom. Doom was an ordinary Human and brought the race of Humans to Pocket Legends. One his conquest to explore the world of Pocket Legends, he found the beautiful sorceress Silknight. Before Silknight could realize her feelings for him, she had killed him in battle. Her revives were unsuccessful, as he was AFK and eventually banned by Justg's Ban Hammer for inappropriate display of affection. As a memorial and tribute to Doom, Silknight crafted a bow made of his bones and enchanted it with her flames, giving it the fire proc. It draws power from the the dead and drains life from the living. The arrows are fashioned from a skull of each unfortunate victim that Silknight killed in honor of her true love, Doom. Some say, to this day. Doom lingers in the world of Pocket Legends, hiding from Justg's Banhammer and hoping to reunite with his long lost love, Silknight.

Item's Description: It is a bow constructed of bone and gives a fire proc, which was enchanted by Silknight. The arrows draw power from the dead and feed off the living (Drain life proc). It is very slow, as all the dead should be, with a speed of 1.5. It's damage is 65-80, quite a formidable hitter. The range of the weapon is 12mm.
