View Full Version : AL needs a skill/class overhaul

I love Arcane Legends. This game does so much right, it is in my opinion the best designed MMORPG for mobile devices out there. I want to thank STS at this point. Especially the changes to reduce player gap did so much good for this game. When a F2P title does it so right, like AL does, I gladly leave some money to support the long living of this game and set an example for other companies.

But the one thing that bothered me about AL since I started, was the simplicity of the classsystem and skills. I love to experiment with skills and different builds and I want to identify with my character by customizing it as much as possible.

I would like to see advanced classes implemented. Level 51 quests which allow us to pick one out of three advanced classes, which get affected by the base stats in the same way as the initial class.
- Nothing at all has to change on the hud and the item system -
All u would need to do is creating new skills which are only obtainable through completing those quests.
I like the idea of having to choose for a playstyle through the limitation of skillslots on the hud. But there are just no meaningful alternatives to the the builds everyone is using and way too many skillpoints in relation! Increasing the skill choice by simply adding new skills for each advanced class would make this game so much more fun! Together with some new vanities this could open up a lot of ways for customization.

New classes based on these ideas would keep the game simple to pick up. The fact that they would only be available once reached end game, would give most players enough time to get to know the game well enough and to not feel overwhelmed by too many choices right off the bat.

Cleaned the whole post up to increase readability. I am very passionate about my idea, but did a horrible job at putting it to text form. Hope I can make my thoughts more clear now.

Sts I got a question...5 skill points into windmill and it still sucks in pvp....why?

Windmill can be useful in clash cause its aoe skill.
I never seen tank use it in endgame PvP, but i saw it in twink Lvl.

I miss using windmill but you can't really use it here at my lvl anymore
