I bought a vanity face which I have been using for a few months and decided to try another one.

I bought a new one but I can't find a way to use the old one again without buying it. How do I get it back?

I think this is the policy: faces are not items, you pay to change each time, as you pay to respec stats each time. Sad to be said... But maybe I'm wrong, let some other to correct me.

That sucks. I don't think its fair to compare them to a respec as they are items. When you buy items you expect to keep them.

There wasn't even any warning about this which would have been fair.

How do I apply for a refund?

Taming is right, you can't change back without paying again. There have been a few people who suggested allowing you to keep the faces and switch out. Maybe they will do that sometime.

When I first realized this I, too, was surprised that you would need to purchase the face again. Agreed, the nicest thing for STS to do would be to allow you to keep ones you purchased and switch between them. Since that isn't the case currently it would be nice if they at least had a warning or something else pop up to let people know that this is currently the way it works.

It is unfair, I bought an item and they took away an item I had already paid for.

If I'm supposed to think of it as 'war paint' instead of a vanity item like every other vanity item then why don't they put up some kind of warning or information about it?

I am clearly not the only one who feels scammed by this.

I get why some people would say it's ok because it's more realistic to not be able to keep faces. Let's be honest, there is nothing real about this game. What bothers me is we are paying real money for something we cannot keep.

I wouldn't mind if this system was made clear at the point of purchase but it wasn't. As a result I am left feeling like they have dipped into my account and stolen something which I already paid for with real cash.

At least let me change back to my original choice without trying to sting me for another 5 plat.

I actually agree with you, Elliott (and Bearded). Any other item that costs plat you generally get to keep forever. Why not faces? I am all about the devs needing to make money to keep PL smoothly running, but this has always struck me as pretty odd, as well.

Well, excuse my french, but that's bullsquash. I gave up trying to get a response after emailing and posting countless time for being reimbursed those silly plat packs they decided to make all pink, and said MONTHS AGO and said they would refund. Guess 5 plat is easier to refund that 100's. :cool:

Great to hear. Once again STS proves to be completely on top of things and keeping their customers happy. Thanks for the update.

I hate to beat a dead horse...again, but people want to talk about how responsive the devs are when they haven't responded to numerous emails. I guess "i will look into what we can do" means, don't ask me anything and I will ignore any mention of this. This is from February for crying out loud with users spending 100s of plat.


I spent several hundred plat on those packs to get complete pink sets before this update. I find it somewhat outrageous that this change would be made without reimbursing those who spend tons on the packs when they dropped purples. I am highly disappointed by this and think we should get our plat back.


I will look into what we can do.

Yeah, I can see how that would be of some concern, Bearded...maybe they will see your response here and do something about it, but in general they are damn responsive compared to others.

Just a simple response would be nice, even if they can't/won't do anything about it.

Agreed...but you also gotta remember that they are getting 6,387 emails a day from people demanding to be unbanned despite them running around saying "*&$(*@ my *&@#&%^ you stupid !@!*%^@!!!" but claiming "theyz didntz do nothingz wrong" :rolleyes:

Or maybe they just skurred of you.

Interesting... So when they told us firmly that it wouldn't change, they again meant "it won't change right now but who knows in the future?". I personally have not bought more than one face per char bc of this, but I hope if they are changing this in the future, they will go into everyone's accounts and see which face they've bought to allow them access to all of them.
