Greetings Legends! Today marks a monumental day in Arcane Legends history. The day one of our most requested game features arrives: PvP Duels! No more clearing out PvP rooms. You now get a dueling arena of your very own to take on your opponent without any distractions.

Here's How it Works

Challenge Your Opponent

There are 3 ways to challenge another player to a duel. If you are in town you can open the inspect menu for any player and select Invite > Duel.

You can also challenge a friend from your friends list with the "Duel" button.

Accept a Challenge

When you've been challenged to a duel you'll receive a notification that looks like this,

showing who challenged you. Accept the challenge to be transported to the Duel Lobby.


The Lobby

Once accepted, you arrive in the duel lobby. Sides are automatically assigned and you will see a timer countdown from 5 seconds...and off you go!


The Arena

When the duel begins, both players will start on opposite sides of the arena, and it's in your hands from there. A duel ends when one player earns 3 kills against their opponent. The player with 3 kills is deemed the winner and the duel will end, teleporting you back to the last town you were in.


Stats

There aren't rewards or leaderboards for Dueling, but you can check your Win/Loss stats at any time from your profile.

Dimitrian, if you do not duel, you do not have to. It is an additional option which makes the game more verstile.
The only thing I miss - which was fun in PvP arenas during duel - the audience.
You know ... join as ghost or just somehow see the happening.

For vanity weapons.... an additional collectible type.
Collectors PLEASE do not start to complain due to another "have to" task for your species!

Guessing here, but I think Gabriel's client was updated before a friend's client (or the reverse), thus creating the situation he's describing. When two players are on different versions of the AL client, wonkiness occurs.

Suggestion from the PvE players - please add an elite kill statistic. We now have 3 columns for pvp and one for pve in a pve-based game. This seems pretty unbalanced.

The buttons are very big on the social interface. The huge red x button for removals is a bit unappealing also.

The auto-reject trade invites is a welcome addition, however. Thanks for that.

k. my first duel i had was with a rogue. countdown..kills me first, on my respawn he had 3 packs on the ground, kills me second time, 6 packs. and on my third revive he had 9 packs on the ground. players are alrdy so close that there s not time to charge a skill, just quicktapskill. Also what do u think of a 46lvl endgamer dueling a lvl1 dummy.? or a 20lvl twink. im an active pvp player and i was excited for a vs mode. not this =/ For now pls try to fix the enemy view on TDM(pops in middle of screen) and the chat box. ill stick with auto reject duel for now. ty and cheers

When someone dies from Nilbog poison, they stay died and they cant get up. It happend two times to my friends when I was fighting them. It only happends when they die from the Nilbog AA, not when u hit them though. Also rouge packs dont go away aftor they died.

1. Rogue's Mage mask looks like a bird head. Like pocket legends bird.
2. Jords vanity is bugged.
3. Gargoyle vanity is bugged.
4. Somehow people manage to kill in duels before the timer hits 0. That means before the duel starts.
5. Garetta rebuilding leaderboard is gone.
6. Skyward smash makes warriors float in air.
7. SS also hits only one enemy instead of many, even though SS has 6m impact radius.
8. Rogues deal damage in duels like in pve.
9. Nilbog bug as mentioned above.
10. Rogue health packs and planar pendant crystals don't disappear after battle.
11. Friend's list and guild list interface is a mess (not really a bug, but it's too bad).
12. You get PvP kills and deaths for all your allies while in the room, they go back to normal once we go out.
13. I also noticed a bug with duels KDR records, but that one also went back to normal once I was done. Couldn't see how though.

Good luck and thanks for the update. I would recommend to give priority to the warrior skill bugs because it's made us even worse lol

Have the loadouts for gears & vanities been separated?
This is because my loadouts are named but when I go to the vanity section, it shows no names.

If this is the case....i do not support it.
Many of us use different vanities for the gears equipped underneath to let us know what we're packing. This is mainly the case for lepre on/off.

+1 to tabbed kdr viewing.
+1 to social section appearing very cluttered.
+1 to warrior trying to analyse the crowd situation below before taking his dive in from the ss.

STS, thanks for what you guys did here but, I would have expected the grouping of items within inventory as a priority also.
It is really frustrating looking for a luck elixir when its sitting at the bottom of 200 other items.

I feel I need to address this. For quite some time now it seems to me that the AL community is doing 100% of the testing and research when it comes to content. Explain how I can log in to a new client and within minutes experience a multitude of glitches bugs and general odd displays or interfaces, but a team of developers aren't seeing/testing before releasing? Now as usual the response is always something like this...tell us in feedback for a fix in a future update. Maybe the feedback section should be renamed to community R&D to better suit.

I totally agree with this fellow player. Every single update has brought many bugs, and basically we're doing your test team's job.

I suggest you actually test the updates in a normal server and not your testing server because I have a feeling it's flawed.

The images of the friend's list and guild list are very different to what we actually see in our game.

I could find 13 bugs in less than an hour for deary's sake.

Yea the lvl difference is kinda weird. I took all my gear off on my lvl 46 mage, so I had like 1.8k hp and 0 armor, and a lvl 15 twink still couldn't get me passed 100% hp. The vsing is still fun, I only saw one trash talker so far, thats good news (he/she/bio challenged me.).

@Hesx All you'd have to do is sit in windmore city with a L1 toon for like two seconds and you'll have about 5 level 13twinks - capped 46s inviting you to duel. (same people I've seen calling new players duel food, which ruins the gaming experience for them) Just shows how people are abusing the new PvP system already and how quick a patch needs to come to adjust the level requirement for invite AND make a dueling match up like on PL 1v1 rooms lol

For dummy farming...just put a cool-down period into play for people who fight the same players over & over & over. Easy. Won't stop them 100% of the time...but will make it annoying for them. which will somewhat help if ever came the time titles, leader board event, and awards come into play with dueling. I'm really glad an official 1vs1 arena was made. I don't really pvp but I always thought looking for some place in ctf to 1v1 without others interfering, or trying to get into an empty tdm room would be a pain (might be wrong, I don't have much experience in this). And I can't wait till some vanity weapons are released!
I also hope the bird mask will be part of Halloween. It looked nice :)

Theres no need for there to be a lvl requirement duels are only for fun not lb so if u have a friend not same lvl it cwn be fun. Also there is absoutly no way rouges should have there dam nerfed as i said b4 and as sts has stated duels are for fun. Hey all, I haven't had time to play much since this update, but I noticed the following bugs/issues:

1) In normal PvP you can only fight in a PvP room with players within 2 levels of you. I think for duels it should be players within 1 level of you. So imagine my surprise when I was challenged to my first duel while playing with my level 10 and I saw the results. My level 10 is one of the best PvP mages in that bracket, and I usually win 80% of my fights, yet I was killed by the opposing warrior with 1 hit. Then after losing 3 straight, I come to find out he was a level 22 warrior!! Most of the time when you are challenged to a duel, it is by a player you are not familiar with, and nowhere does it say their level. And it can be hard to find where they are in the town, or if they are by the auction then you cannot see them in the crowd. So there is no way to know what level they are. Please make it so that you can only challenge another player to a duel if they are within one level of you!

2) While in a duel, the opposing player quit in the middle and left. My first thought is that I should get an automatic kill if he leaves after the fight has started. So I was just left standing there and had to leave the duel arena via the world map. Then when I tried to challenge another player to a duel, the system complained to me that I was already in middle of a duel. In order to duel again, I had to log off, quit the app, and sign back on.

3) There had been some discussion in one of the threads of making some sort of PvP rating system instead of just kills/deaths, and then having a leaderboard. I guess that is not happening? If so then that's too bad. It would have added some more fun to the game.

4) The new PvP screen is all messed up. Everything is out of proportion, and now in order to see the list of players on the other team, you have to block the middle of your screen. On those of us playing on a phone or small tablet, it takes up too much of the middle of the screen and blocks your view. I don't understand why these changes were made as it doesn't appear any new information is on the screen. So then we rearrange this if it was fine before?

5) This is not something from the most recent update, but a bug I noticed over the past week, which is that in TDM Trulle's kills were counting as kills for one of the teams. So the game would end earlier than it should, and then Trulle's kills were listed on the final totals screen with no name next to the number of kills.

Like i said i think you should not be any lvl restrictions on duel but there shoukd obviously be the lvl of the person inviting you to a duel id think that one would be a no brainer

Yeah, that would be fine. Let the box that appears telling you of the duel invite state what level the other player is, and also would actually be nice to know what class they are as well. Sometimes you would use a certain pet, gear or skills against a certain class, and once you enter the duel you have no time to start messing around with that stuff as it starts right away.

are we able to get pvp achievements with this 1vs1 pvp thing....? if yes........ then its not fun to play anymore coz many players will get the pvp kills achievement easily by doing dummy farming.

Loadout bugs... If you switch your outfit by using loadout (the outfit what you are switching to is definitely different) you still get on a vanity (if you were using after switching) or normal armor etc. no matter is there a vanity or armor etc. on that outfit what you switched to.
Pls fix this bug as quick as it's possible.. It's really annoying :/

We still don't have level 46 elite gear yet, so I don't know that mythic weapons will be coming any time soon. If they use the same ones for a fourth time, that might be disappointing to people who look forward to actual new items.

Even there is a block for invites but can you please do something if level 46 player do duel invite for level 12 player.

Can you add the blocking like in PVP........ZONE REQUIREMENT, thus not allowed to do Duel. Common Sense pleaseeeeeeee.

Greetings Legends! Today marks a monumental day in Arcane Legends history. The day one of our most requested game features arrives: PvP Duels! No more clearing out PvP rooms. You now get a dueling arena of your very own to take on your opponent without any distractions.

Here's How it Works

Challenge Your Opponent

There are 3 ways to challenge another player to a duel. If you are in town you can open the inspect menu for any player and select Invite > Duel.

Accept a Challenge

When you've been challenged to a duel you'll receive a notification that looks like this,

showing who challenged you. Accept the challenge to be transported to the Duel Lobby.


The Lobby

Once accepted, you arrive in the duel lobby. Sides are automatically assigned and you will see a timer countdown from 5 seconds...and off you go!


The Arena

When the duel begins, both players will start on opposite sides of the arena, and it's in your hands from there. A duel ends when one player earns 3 kills against their opponent. The player with 3 kills is deemed the winner and the duel will end, teleporting you back to the last town you were in.


Stats

There aren't rewards or leaderboards for Dueling, but you can check your Win/Loss stats at any time from your profile.

Idk if it has mentioned before but, can we please bring back the old ctf 'all chat' as the normal chat in dueling? It is a duel, meaning both sides agree to have the duel. There are no tactics to talk about in ur own chat so i dont see a point of having a normal chat, just for urself and then an all chat for both sides.
