This is just from a limited sample of my guild members and personal experience, but it seems that elite mobs in rengol and tindirin have been buffed significantly since the new client. Is this just my imagination? If not, was this an intentional change from STS?

They have been buffed and apparently it is a glitch. Check this thread and see the reply by G-M for confirmation:

There has already been too many threads posted regarding this issue & one of the STS Dev " G-M " has replied for it saying " It wasn't buffed intentionally & they are looking over & will inform about it after its fixed "
