So during my event runs with guildies, I've noticed a few things...
I'm guessing I could call these "Strategies"...I don't know. I'll let the readers decide...
1. Avoiding Paracelcus' Pull/Push Attack
When Paracelsus (the giant green one that appears after killing the mage version of Paracelsus) pulls everyone to him, before he spawns green smoke and pushes everyone back, while doing damage, If you walk downwards, to the edge of the map, next to the statues, there is a 99% chance that Para's green blast won't push you back or damage you.
2. Avoiding Spikes
I've started to notice a pattern in where spikes spawn, and how to avoid them. Ever since I've found out about this yesterday, I've been surviving the spikes.
If I stand at positionX for a while, and stand there to attack, when I see the blue circles (that appear before the spikes appear), usually, they are located right where my mage is standing. So I move a little to the left or right, and I dodged the spike.
I've realized that when I ran around the map and attacked, the spikes were less predictable, and often times, I would run into them right as they appear.
For someone like me, who has way under the average hp for lvl46 mages, and can't afford ankhs, the two strategies have helped me stay alive without having to spend many "Charity Ankhs" given from Klaas or Shazbot.
