Just noticed it today, but it seems that even without paying platinum there's a way to use locked emotes. If you remember swiping finger across the screen allows one to perform an emote http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?21492-GUIDE-How-To-Use-Emotes-Without-the-Emote-Button.&highlight=emote+button. Here, in my case, I haven't purchase any emote yet I can do firework and lol by swiping. I want to know your take on this.
