You're doing fairly well. What's the current level of your main?

526k is an average price
When I was around 23 on my main I had 1.2mil lol
But that's okay because I'm a trader and merchanting type so yeah gold comes easy to me

I'm at lv46 and the most I've had at once was 140k, so I'd say you're pretty wealthy.

You're above average on what people would have at your level for your first time through. The amount of gold people have tends to go up the closer to the cap you get and how long they've been playing. Those who farmed AO3 when it was the cap massed a sizeable amount of gold. The same has happened in BS as well. I think the average gold for a lv56 is a few million?

Yes above average. Keep it going! Your funds might get wiped out though when buying gear

I'd say you're at about average for your level.

That's about average, but still great work! I remember back when I was 45 (nearest to your level at the time). I had around 3 mil cash. But then again, I was a merchant. You should try merchanting. It really pays off.

I would say that's above average. Consider this, old time players had lvl 35 as a lvl cap so there were very expensive items that are worth much less now. I probably had about half that. However, I had some nerved cave drops I picked up so my net worth was about a million at the time. I didn't get a cosmos set for my mage till id been lvl 50 for a month.

But merchants need an amount of gold or a good item to start (swim haves enough gold to start) but u need good luck as merchant too. For example u bought a level 5expert leather for 400k, next day u want to sell it for 405k but there was a massive price drop to 385k cs price , u have to sell it for less money or keep it and wait untill prices raise.

I'm a lvling merchant if I get anything good that I'll use I keep it if It's not good then liquidate If it's good and I won't use it I sell it
BTW almost have 600k

At your level I had much less until I started playing the markets, keeping an eye out on deals, and farming and selling. I don't like liquidating if I can find a price on CS that gives me greater than liquidation value (including listing fees). For example a lot of the 55 non-pink gears typically get liquidated, but you could also easily sell them for 1000-1500 a pop and make yourself more gold than you would liquidating. But to get things going you'll need to loot something nice or find a deal and resell. Money makes money. At your level I probably had much much less. Now I have a sizable stash, in addition to having some really valuable gear. Takes time but you're off to a great start. Part of learning to make money in CS is knowing what to search for- when you do it enough you'll slowly understand how items fluctuate in price and when to buy and when to sell.

Just merchant.... cash adds up fast. The more cash you have the easier it is to make money :)

When you'd look at the whole population, you're probably above average. Especially since a lot of level 50-55 players only play for XP and got there by (power)leveling. They barely made any gold (and kills) and that is why there are more level 50-55 beggars then low level players. At least, that's my experience. So keep up the good work, expand your auction slots and watch for good deals. Like someone said before: money makes money.

well my bear is kinda a beggar (lvl 51) but i was not power lvled. i just used to be pretty rich by the time lvl 50 (about 300k) and then i bought void set, sold it, and got terrible deal. so now im RLLY POOR!!!

When I read this thread, I feel really rich o.O

To the op, I guess that's a nice amount you got together at that level. I'd say it's about average though.

Anyway, I thought it was a big no-no to discuss gold amounts on the forum...
