It's a little big. Just saying haha. If you are going to make it as your sig, it needs to be around the size of 400x100. That's what I do for mine.

Yup! After I get the size figured out I'm gonna start spending maybe a half hour finding pics, and getting every thing perfect for sigs to come!

Here are some quick tips for future sigs (if you plan to make more):

1) If you want to make something stand out either
A: Use the dodge tool on that specific object
B: Blur the background behind the object
This is what I use A LOT!

2) Download some cool brush sets. I use brushes in many of my sigs to add a little bit more effect to them.

3) Try using the overlay effect also. I use this in almost EVERY one of my sigs. It can darken the sig, or add a little bit more effect to it.

4) Also, try the opacity levels of the layers. This allows you to layer your sig even futher.

5) IMPORTANT! Always at the end of your sig, create a new layer and appy image. After this, go to render, and lighting effects. Try and choose a lighting effect that already goes along with your sig. You can help the effect out by using the dodge tool on the side of your render that faces the light, and use the burn tool (which darkens) on the side turned away from the light.

i just noticed theres a slight difference when flaimdude resized my sig, before it was resized theres a black line on the top of the sig, and on my resized sig its not there

dont get me wrong, i think it looks cooler now, its like the arrow of his head is part of the whole page, as there both white

just thought id point it out :p

EDIT: just noticed the colors are faded alot also, still looks cool tho, guess u have sacrifice some of the detail to strink the file

Yah, to lower the KB size of the sig, it's going to lose some of its awesomeness :p

SlipperyJim: To tell you the truth, I couldn't find any chrome rats! This was the best one that I found. The sig seems kind of plain. I don't know if this is what you wanted or if you wanted effects (C4D's) in the background.

Hmmmm ... I like it, even if it is a little plain. Not every graphic needs to be super-flashy! Thanks for the good work, Rebel! If you don't mind, I might want to tweak it a bit before I use it. The "G" in "Guild-Free" is missing a piece, which makes it a bit hard to read. I can probably fix that on my own, and then I'll start using the sig.

Why do you resize it that way? I just make sure my image size is under 500X100 pixels.. i think my file size is like 72kb... aslong as the signature is no bigger than 500x100 pixels you can have it any data size you want... which means you can keep the quality.

Oh yeah! I haven't quite fixed my color settings though. When I do, I will start to work on yours. I would be able to do it, but the specific blue and green colors that you want I can't do at the moment. If you would like to choose a basic subject (ex. archer, warrior, mage), then I should be able to fix you up a sig. Otherwise I will do my best to work on the colors. Same with Hectorcruz's sig.

Neither. Its the render duplicated many times so that it covered the entire background. Once they covered the background, I merged them all into one layer. Then I believe I motion blurred it diagonally. Next, I duplicated that layer, and hide the duplication. Go to the previous one and sharpen it quite a bit. After, unhide the hidden layer and set it to either overlay or soften. I'm not sure. This is going off of my understanding of PS, considering I made that sig around 2 years ago.

I'm starting to get the hang of more techniques. I've been attempting various signature tutorials to learn new tricks, but most of them are hard to follow because the maker doesn't explain worth a crap on how to do it. I don't need step by step directions, but one sentence for over 4 five effects just makes it impossible to follow. Like this one tut I followed told me to add a underwater photofilter. I added it but it looked nothing like the one in the tut, so I ended up having to add 2 other photofilters and apply several other effects to do his seemingly "one part" step.

Actually, I hate rap. Those renders just worked perfectly for the sigs I was making. I like the first one too, and the last one was pure abstract. Basically made everything in the sig except for the main c4d. Took a lot of time. I do like the Chris Brown sig also, but the colors are a little off due to my computer's colors getting screwed up for a time.

Some laptops are very easy to compress photos on.

Yep, Photoshop. Although, if you don't have the cash to pay for PS, you could always use Gimp. It's free and basically does the same things PS, the interface is just much less user friendly. Too messy :/ But it's free if you'd ever like to try it out yourself.

There just isn't really a way to enlarge the image THAT much. Pixels would look like the size of buses.

I didn't resize any of the sigs, but if you just save the picture to your desktop, you can upload it directly from the sig editing page.

2 ways:

1st - Save the image to your desktop. Go to edit signature and upload the image directly. It will automatically resize the picture accordingly.
2nd - Go to shrinkpictures.com, upload the image until the kb size is under the 15 kb limit. Save the shrunken picture to the desktop once again. Next, go to photobucket.com. Upload the image there, and copy the IMG code. Paste the code into your signature and there you have it!

Edit: I lied. I'm literally about to kill myself I'm getting so stressed out with resizing these signatures. I've met every single requirement and it will not work.

Edit: Ok, for some reason this worked. I downgraded the size and quality and then directly uploaded the sig. It turned out bigger. Here's the picture. Save it to your desktop and upload it directly.
