Anyone know what this is?

So I was killing Thumper and whatnot, when this ground effect appeared out of nowhere after my Planar Pendant proc'ced (lasted about 6-7 seconds).

Yes, that happends when your planar pendant procs.

collect the crystals, they are delicious and buff you!

Its planar pend proc. You can read it in item description. Spawn 3 crystals which add you dmg and mana( its for mage.

Black specks are from the clock breaking.

Thanks for the responses, but I was not referring to the crystals. I was referring to the purple ground effect (bigger than arc ring effect) underneath my character that appeared at the same time the crystals appeared.

Yes, when your pendant procs you get that effect.

Arcane ring's proc. It's a purple-blue-ish extension of the arc ring that grants about 2% of mana. The proc happens like this: Keep damaging ---> Chances to proc are higher.

Ofc u haven't noticed Sir, because it simply doesn't proc with a ground effect ;).

The ground effect the OP is referring to is 100% the planar pendant proc and has nothing to do arcane ring :)

anyway, a bit out of topic, arcane ring's proc make your ring glow blue (without additional ground effect),

and when the proc happens, your attack will recover some mana
