Past few days of the game have been unplayable for me due to what appears to be client-side stuttering. It impacts all aspects of the game for me from the virtual keyboard freezing and the output in text box lagging behind my input on the keyboard. Panning or turning the camera either left or right by swiping my finger is met with SEVERE stuttering. It is also lagging behind my input, but this is less noticable in delay and more noticable in frame rate. It is unlike any other game I have played on the iPhone, which admittedly is not a lot.
In PvP I see people hitting me with melee from across the room. Ping remains unchanged - around 80-200. It feels like client side because I'm not getting lost packets or hung up on anything - no characters sliding off on initial trajectories from spikes, etc. Just stuttering and hestitation in UIs, movements, animations.
Basically the game feels unplayable. In fact it is unplayable for me.
Anyone else experiencing this? I figured I'd give it a couple days, but after checking again today, it remains the same. Beginning to worry...
PS - 8 month old iPhone 3GS, 16gb - 13 gb open.
