compared to nekro:

Happiness Bonus

equal happiness bonus: 30 primary stat, 15% damage, 10% critical

difference: 3.5% damage reduction, 230 health VS 10 all stat, 8 mana regen

comment on difference:
looking at first glance, we will think that it is pretty much equal, but giving 10 to all stats equal to 180 health and 100 mana to rogue/mage or 160 health and 100 mana to warrior + slight damage and critical, while both the health bonus and mana bonus aren't scalable, but the 3.5% damage reduction is a relative value which can scale, which makes stampy looks good, BUT, the 10 primary in 10 all stats bonus also increase the value of %bonus damage by 5%!

so, if we do a simple ignorant addition, stampy gives you 230 fix value, and 3.5% relative value, while nekro, give you 268/288++ fix value and 5%++ relative value!
*the ++ came from slight critical, slight dodge, slight damage from attributes and the fact that 8 mana regen obviously better than 8 mana, so the fix value from regeneration hold higher value in effectiveness

conclusion: nekro is simply better in happiness bonus...

Passives
equal passive stat: same stat on damage attribute, same critical

difference: max 3 target, -15% armor for 5s, -8% crit for 5s VS max 5 target, burning damage, -20% armor for 4s, 10% chance to stun, wide aoe

comment on difference:
it is not so easy to observe, but i'm pretty sure that nekro hits more enemies than stampy, and armor reduction doesn't stack, meaning nekro's debuff will most of the time nullifies stampy's, the advantage of stampy is only critical reduction, which as per my observation is very rare, and the problem that stampy aoe is very small, it is very hard to make it hit 3 enemies, while nekro can easily hit 5 at scattered mobs, and burning damage give around 20% of damage dealt by nekro, which is far more superior comapred to -8% crit debuff, and also the stuns (even though can be easily nullified by fireball/gale's knockdown)

conclusion:
nekro wins stampy by several times stronger in passives at least up to 2x effectiveness in a group of mobs, as for single target mobs, nekro greatly overpower with damage, while stampy wins with -8% crit reduction which i think is a joke value for a rare debuff chance

as you can see from the above picture, it is very hard to make stampy actually hits more than 1 enemies, just look at the number of appeared health bar, only 1 from stampy
while we can see a lot from nekro

AA
completely different AA:
nekro: 27s cooldown, deals damage, 50% terrify, small chance banish, 10s buff of 40% damage reduction, stun immunity, and 4s speed up
stampy: 30s cooldown, 75% remove pools in area, 8s buff of 120 armor and 5% crit

comment on comparison:
nekro has lesser cooldown, longer buffs, deals damage around 250% of its passive, 50% chance to terrify, banish, and 40% damage reduction, stun immunity is a no joke for defensive buffs.
stampy has longer cooldown, shorter buffs time, good thing is it can stack with other powerful buffs, like from maridos, and singe, because it give rare static value armor bonus buff, and most sought crit buff, but honestly 5% crit and 120 armor is so underpowered compared to 40% damage reduction and stun immunity

both pool removal from stampy and 40% damage reduction + 50% terrify from nekro can be said as a strategical timed aa, that one may save for important moment where we need damage the most (pool removal when there is disturbing pool spawned, and 40% damage reduction when enemy is going to deal dangerous damage to party) but longer cooldown and chance to fail from stampy greatly makes stampy so underpowered

in my actual use, i use it when fighting northal, northal almost usually spawn another pool when it is expired, and he can summon 2 times in between stampy cooldown, can you imagine how i'm frustrated when stampy failed to remove the pool? not only it makes stampy totally useless, and then you have to watch northal resummon his pool with you can't do nothing to prevent it happens. and yes, this failed pool removal does happen

aside from strategical timed aa, nekro and stampy can be spammed just for getting its buff, while nekro has no negative effect when stacking 2 nekros, problem is we have to time ourselves to wait around 5s before deploying another nekro shield, stampy aa can accidentally removes pools generated by your allies, even toor's fissure (which is visually not a pool wherever you look at it) can also be nullified by stampy, so the idea of spamming stampy for its buffs is not a very good idea, and longer cooldown from nekro or other powerfull buffs from maridos, singe, or even hammerjaw makes stampy is not preferred for its party buffs

conclusion: nekro more versatile in most cases, the only case where stampy is usefull maybe when it is used to counter sns in pvp, but only that, else, other pets are preferred

Overall Conclusion
Stampy is just not on par with 'crafted' arcane pet (atm it is only nekro and stampy)
a simple buff of stampy of either:
1. increase primary attribute to +40
2. decrease cooldown to around 20-22s
3. increase buff times to around 10s
4. smaller chance to accidentally remove allies' pools

is enough to make it on par with other crafted arcane pet...

P.S.: please also consider reducing toor's cooldown to same 20-22s... to be on par with arcane pet's AA, and also thanks to the fact that it can be erased by stampy... waiting for another 28-30s for another fissure that is so underpowered compared to sns' is so unfair

thank you

Buff deary! [emoji14]
Well they didn't buff him before so i don't think they will buff him now.
AA is nice IMO and helpful , stats also not so bad just a little weaker than nekro

A very nice and in-depth comparison. It is not a secret anymore that stampy is not only on paar with nekro, but arguably not on paar with mari, toor and singe.
I really wish it were much better. This would have given farmers a lot more options.
