Step one: Level a mage to lvl 46 or log onto your lvl 46 mage.

Step 2: Respec to ice, clock, fireball and skill of your choice, all with dot upgrades.

Step 3: Buy the lix for the jewel you want to farm and go into the appropriate map.

Step 4: Watch the jewels rain.

Step 5: Sit there counting your money till the next event.

Enjoy!

This is common sense. There are more things to do that can further enhance your drop rate but not for the public.

PS: Safsaf, your signature's rightmost center tag is missing the slash -> [/center]. It's been bothering me for a while!

Can you do the bug that makes enemy and not die then use lix and spam dot?

I tried many times today lol, I think they fixed it... :/

Haha. Good to probably lower your dmg output equipping common/epics and mass dot.

You're a mage :/ mages have it best this weekend. My loot rate as a rogue isn't as good.

true.... i guess one thing that could help is to use traps, nox, razor and if i remember correctly... weapons that have bleed effect?
(i dont really play rogue so take it as a grain of salt lol)

This is actually incorrect. A warrior with a 46 mythic weapon can clear mobs faster than a mage. The weapon proc is extremely op

But we want to damage them, not fully kill them, to get the jewels.

but the point is to do damage, not clearing .

like if given the choice, i'd want them to not die lol

edit: dammit, Rav beat me

Next in line: Jewel Rerolling pendant! Then, 2x pve kills pendant. Then 2x pvp kills pendant...rip

I tend to run elite grotto for fangs as a side effect but I am getting like 6-8 cracked and 3-4 damaged per lix (rogue).
You guys run normal maps? Running on mage is a good idea but I am a bit squishy in elite :)

So elite is much better cuz they don't die faster ??

Yup, as Safi says - it does not seem that the nominal damage counts. In fact, I collect more gems with Elon gun than with borrowed Glintstone because of the shield (less deaths if crowd control breaks).

It seems that it's the number of ticks that counts and every single mob dmg tick gives you chance for jewel. Hence, if you manage to park 8-10 mobs with clock and time fire, ice and gale before new clock is ready, you have a good chance of 3-5 jewels per pull.

But I must say that there are also rare times when you get no jewels in 3 pulls. Once I stacked finesse and chaos and have not gotten a single Chaos in those 15 minutes. So, as usually, it's a bit luck :-)

In any case, mages profit most from these lixers.
