Does your level affect your chance at a good drop?

I have heard people on the forums saying that it is impossible for a high level to get a pink in fh. According to them, if you are a high level you won't have as much of a chance to get a good drop as a low level. I doubt this is true but still.... Is it?

Holy wow, there are numerous threads surrounding this very issue! I would personally say that it's a bit too early to tell. I mean you're going to hear from both sides and until someone steps forward with actual proof of a level 56 getting a pink drop it's all just speculation.

In all honesty only a dev can fully put this issue to rest, is there really a way for us to tell if the drop rates are actually lower for higher levels? Once someone gets a pink at a high level, everyone will assume that the drop rates are the same regardless of level. Personally, I'm not too sure how "random" the system is... since all you ever hear about are people who just join and rush to the boss last minute and get a pink *cough* (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?27554-You-won-t-believe-this!) or the low level coming in and stealing the pink. I like to believe that some people work hard and grind and get rewarded, but those individuals never seem to step up and tell their story. I know this may all sound like a rant, and I've said it all before... I have vip access in waaambulance... it's all perception and in the end all we have are assumptions.

If anything I'm beginning to suspect the level 1 drop table of not having a pink drop at all, but again, too early to tell.
Now a month from now, when you hear the hardcore farmers say their highest drops were yellow... Well, then...
