I started this game on October 2012 ( when it was Diwali festival) but quit 1yr ago.
So if I install today, will I get the shield?

Funny yesterday me and my buddy were discussing about that, from what I HEARD it seems that if you create an acc prior to 1/1/13 you'll have it in stash. TBH I never heard of this vanity so if anyone has can you please post a screenshot?
not only prior 1/1/13 but logged in within last 90days.

It's simple, you just need an account older than that stipulated date and have logged in in the past 3 months which basically begs the question: have you been online in any day for the past three months?
If you have then you should have it
But as you said you quit one year ago so I assume you haven't logged in for the past 3 months. Short answer? No.
