Older characters are now able to complete the entire Forest Haven quest series. Ellie's first quest no longer requires that you complete the new player tutorial.
Boss monsters in the Forest Haven 'mini-dungeons' (namely Chaper VI - Boss Gauntlet and The Skeleton Cult Crypts) will now drop rare recipies, crafting materials and (very) rare items.

Yesterday, I made a new character and did all the new FH levels 4 times with groups. I never say anyone get anything higher than yellow, except for a couple of common green staffs. I think it would be helpful to know actual percent drop rates for the rares.

10% = farming.
5% = one for me, one to sell.
1% = just pass through once to see if i get lucky.
0.1% = don't go to that zone, unless leveling a character.

To get all fourteen quests you have to do Burke daily quests until you finish Toxicology. Then you can do the last quest from a different FH NPC.

Anyone getting ANYTHING from Cult Crypts? I completed the map 2 times without a single drop and 3 more times with just a simple mob drop. I know it was hinted at they would be harder, but 3 bossed killed and not ones of them gave me a drop at all? Are we sure this is fixed? This screenshot basically shows that the map was created (see the form test in the above chat window) and completed without a drop at all:

Thanks devs for fixing the FH quests! Ooooooooooh E3 stuff. Can't wait to find out what they're doing for E3. Also was wondering when the FB stuff would come back, not that I use them or anything.

Made a ton of runs in both Boss Guanlet and Cult Crypts, then only drop I cared about was the power gem from Firey Ursan Minion. Drop rate seems really low.

Word from the design team is they've made some tweaks to address those issues. Look for them to go live in coming patch notes.

I just noticed that, in fact, every boss that was using that drop table is now dropping nothing. That means Fiery Avian Minion in FH II and Orcish Avian in FH V as well as what Gluttony cited in Cult Crypts.

But I am hopeful this is included in that tweak that is coming.

I know that the Orcish Avian in FH5 was on the same drop table before the patch, but I never really got many drops from him before so I didn't know how many times I should kill him before I could conclude that he is indeed broken. The Cult Crypt bosses issue was much more obvious so I just stuck to that. I'll prolly farm Silk some more and just kill the Orcish Avian for fun, if I get a drop I'll screen capture and post, but I'm not holding my breathe.
