Rewards for selling certain items

I played a pc mmorpg and they made a sytem of getting points for selling ingame items to the game not other players
like for example
you get a specific weapon, armor, helm, shield, or crafting mat.and you just click and sell and you come to the game website and check the points you accumalate.
then the devs could create certain items that you have to save your points for
it might be a good idea or not...plz comment

Lol idk bout the nannas but the points redeemption would be like special armors weaps tokens to pay for ingame npc items etc there are diff ways it could be cool to whatever they end up rewarding us with

I played in a Neverwinter Nights persistent world some years back where you could donate items to temples in the game, with the followers of specific religions getting bigger and better temples (and even new temples) over time based on the value of the donations they received.

From the "story" aspect of PL, donating items may be used to equip the militia, meaning that established townes might see better fortifications and expanded territory over time. Or characters who contribute the most (or over some certain threshold) might have some form of in-game monument.

Donations to fortify towns would be cool and i was thinking of a side story in pl about each class is in war with another and there would be iant pvp matches across severak levels

I miss playing it :/ I left my sin at lvl 67 cause I didn't have internet access anymore :'(
And yeh side stories would be cool
And the fortification of in game places could be used for guilds when,they acquire guild bases
