high damage due to the wand, but slower speed, more mana per second due to mage gear, and more health per second
and obviously armour due to a shield (if you go the wand route, theres some that use the staff for raw damage)

I was sorta stumped because I don't even come close to the damage that Clever Birdies do... and I have some top-notch enchantress gear.
