View Full Version : Jewel Upgrade Still Has Time??

Just curious why do jewels when socketed to an item still has crafting time? If it's gems it's understandable bcoz there's a chance for grand gem but with jewels the stats are "fix" depending on the type of jewel is being socketed, so no way jewels can become grand (lol) so why the time?? anyone also bothered by this?

Yes. Upgrade your gear before you go to sleep. Take a rest and have a healthy game play.

Well it should be atleast reduced craft time to half because its not gem(4h)

Some people who doesn't have good luck on loot or locked ( like me ) use the upgrade time as a business. You can make 125k profit or more in 16 or 24 hours of sleep time and 5 crafting slots.

I agree with the op here.
As it is theres a long crafting time & then theres an 8hr upgrade time. I think the entire crafting period from damaged to noble is somehow meant to represent the hrs it would take you to have gotten a grand gem. Upgrade time should be reduced.
Also if crafting jewels has a gold cost attached to it then there should also be a liquidation value for jewels you don't want from your inventory.

I do or when I know I won't play for 8 hours I said tempt I would never use plat to speed it up

That has always been the plan. Unfortunately sleep attks wipe out your memory of the to-do list before sleep.

Yeah....... That's also why there will never be more than 5 slots........
