Checked in game... the orc tag quests are granting double tags. Orc tags don't drop anywhere, to my knowledge. There's so many items in game I don't blame anyone for getting confused.

Hey devs wouldn't it be a great idea to organize the crafting and chest slots??? It would lead to less confusion. ;)

In the time it takes me to farm a single vial of orcs bane, I can farm a whole dragon bar during double teeth events. Trust me, double fangs would have been much preferred.

Especially with how many Orc bane vials are needed.

Fangs are not difficult, they are ridiculous in terms of rarity compared to the number required. We have had 2 Jewel events recently to address that problem. Nothing has been done about Fangs which are a major frustration.

i don't think there will be a higher drop rate for orc fangs anytime soon. aside from vials, it's the only profitable item that we can farm for this expansion. plus they are still trying to fix the economy/market..thus, 2x tooth drop. in my opinion, 2x arena chests has a higher chance to happen than 2x orc fangs.

Fangs are not difficult, they are ridiculous in terms of rarity compared to the number required. We have had 2 Jewel events recently to address that problem. Nothing has been done about Fangs which are a major frustration.

i beg to disagree. i completed my set in a matter of 3 weeks, just hardcore farming for around 4-5 hours daily. just imagine how much fangs you can get for farming the whole day. i didn't buy ang fangs either. you just need the right pt to farm with you

I dare say that this is impossible without account sharing and farming 24 hours per day during those 3 weeks. And even then considering that I sometimes get 1 fang in 2 hours in a maxed pro party still pretty much impossible.

Kaden needs to diversify his goods. Beside dragonite bar, there is nothing worth buying from his collections. Noone will buy the magma gear and I never see anyone run elite with Snappy. Make him stock superb or noble jewels we can buy with teeth, or make it possible to trade teeth for fangs at Kaden at a reasonable exchange rate. People are moaning about dragonite bar price plummeting following this event. Having Kaden sell other valuable goods can help keep teeth farming profitable.

The same goes with Klassi. Please make it possible to buy Twilight vanities for other classes so I can buy them for my mage and warrior. The double tags is pointless after I reach 1000/1000 tags limit in my satchel, which is soon (944/1000 atm).

I'm sorry as a person with a family and work, I don't have that kind of time to farm and I'm sure others don't as well. I like playing Arcane legends, but dedicating that amount of time is not feasible if you have real life responsibilities.

but seriously, I was hoping for a double fangs event since in November Producer letter it says

Events! We'll kick off with a much requested farming event followed by a frighteningly fun contest event.

Following these forums, 'much requested' can not be anything else than double odds on fangs. I do have my set completed (which I repeat does not 100% pull nor stun) and I like to help my friends getting theirs. The current fang drop rate is quite low so imo for those people who got their sets until now it wouldn't be unfair if others had a one week long 2x.

I think the reasoning is that the newer player base can catch up rather than the middle/older player base quickly finishing up the season's content. Just like the every now and then 2x xp.

In terms of required time, effort and expense is more difficult to farm a Noble Chaos in normal maps from start to finish than it is to farm the complete Glintstone mythic set in elite maps. Fangs drop more frequently than a chaos jewel because chaos jewel drops are limited in frequency by the other jewels that share the same drop table. There are a multitude of other reasons as well, but I'm not going to list them all here. Just pm me if you're interested to know more. ;)

So you're still not convinced? Ok, I propose a race... I'll farm the glinstone set and you farm a noble chaos and we'll see who reaches their respective goal first.

Of course they can be compared. They are both specific crafting ingredients that drop from mobs infrequently. My initial comparison was intentionally narrow in scope (drop frequency, time, cost of farming). Understandably, you expanded the scope to include a price comparison between the two. However, the option to purchase a <5m noble chaos doesn't exist for a large majority of players, let alone the entire glinstone set. I was thinking of the farming players.

However, if you really want to include price, the scope should also be expanded in other ways. First, consider the fact that the jewels have been available longer than the glintstone set, meaning the glintstone market is less mature than the jewel market and therefore prices aren't as settled. Also, STS recently intentionally reduced the price of jewels with Large Birthday cakes - STS may yet intervene and to drop fang prices. And, finally, if you include a fully equipped set of 18 noble jewels of value (primary stat and chaos), the cost of the jewels still exceeds the cost of the entire glintstone set.

Originally, my point (gracelessly misunderstood by Sfubi) was that, based on their actions in the recent past, STS isn't likely to make any moves on fangs in the short run. In the long run, STS may make a move on fang prices, but I suspect it will be a lot smaller than most players would like. But, STS is also unpredictable, they may do 2x fangs next weekend for all I know.
