Iphone and lag

i just wanted to know if anyone has the same experience:

when i hold my iphone (3GS) with both hands and play with thumbs i cover the whole back and sides of the phone with hands. when i do this it semms ping going up and have spikes sometimes.

when i hold the phone just with the top of thumbs/middlefingers and play with the index fingers ping remains more constant green.

is it just coincidence or someone have same?

If your using WiFi I would make a directional WiFi antenna like I did! It works great just Google it and you'll see how to build one. Anyways I hope this helps.
