I am still really really reaaaalllly torn about whether I should start the grind or not. What are you guys thoughts? :rolleyes:
Do it, I thought I'd never be able to, yet I did. It's worth it, trust me. Also, it is FUN with the 30 minute 3x elixir pot. Your like the Energizer Bunny.

I hate it when I go through tight situations like this. My advice? Do it so you don't have to worry about it again...

It's not a bad grind with a good group. You get into a routine... I love it.
My advice: do it. No elixirs. :)

A new campaign to raise the level cap will likely be out within the next month or so. I'd take that into consideration before spending plat/gold on elixirs.

I dont see one coming out for a couple weeks (maybe 3-5) There's easily time (I may be wrong however:p) I just my try to hit it on my bear

Don't, totally unpredictable. A rumor hasn't even come out. Before BS and AO3 were released a rumor spread out saying they were coming. Even though BS was a sealed tight secret.

I sold mine way too late in AO3. I held off buying it for two weeks.. finally decided to get it, and later in the day the rumor came out and the prices halved. :/

I'm game for the grind to 56 too.... Got Redbridge to 55 now with the help of the energiser bunny (thanks Parth) and mainly a new friend called Peckkahead, she's from Auz. Thanks to you too...

If you have a group in mind and are doing it for the fun of it then I would give you the thumbs up; however, I don't believe there are many benefits to actually doing it. All you get is the CoP for your trouble, and it breaks any set that you may want (and the stats are pretty bad imo). There was at time where I wanted to do it with 3 chars and get one of each crown (when I thought there were going to be sets added for them), I do recall something being said about the devs working on it but it wasn't definite. That could be a small incentive to do it, if after the chance to get the crown is removed from the game a new set arrives.
Edit: Sneaky dev plot, create three new campaigns (spaced out by a few months or so) and have an elite level cap for each, add quests that allow players to create an item (set) to go with the CoP.

I'm in bro. I've been dying to reach level 56 for weeks now. Just don't have the motivation (and I am somewhat lazy)

Okay well It's official. I am going to hit lvl 56 before the level cap. Already gotten 2k exp today.

I'll grind with my mage(already 56, but I want kills) after I hit 55 with my bear. Names are in the sig, I'll hit you up with requests right now.

Sure, I'll come along. My advice is shoot for a certain amount of xp per day. I did 5k per day (using 3x pots) and made it in 16 days. That was back when those elixirs cost gold though.

There is a reason why I blow people up at grates. It's a memento for how many runs you did with me, when I'm gone :D. Or also as a counter for what run number it is :D.
Disclaimer: It can be highly inaccurate, as sometimes I may want to blow you up twice.
