No, just no. This is the dumbest thing I have seen on these forums, and that's pretty sad. I'm not saying the people who are supporting it or using images are stupid, I'm saying the idea is stupid. Seriously, you don't 'revolt,' whether it's openly or quietly. You ask the admins, make a topic, and that's it. If the admins have disabled pictures in signatures, there's a reason.

Your text signature doesn't even make sense. 98% leaves 2% not 10%. So I don't think you can voice an oppinion on signatures.

Actually from what I read at the vbulletin website, signature images are disabled by default and must be enabled by the admin. So there may very well be a reason why they have decided not to enable them, but it could be that they just haven't thought to turn them on.

I can't just drop it... Another issue is, of course, the decimal system in binary. We all know that 98% is actually .98 and that 10% is actually .10. So, in binary, we're screwed! No decimals (atleast to my knowledge)!! I think the government's behind this.

Also, ets: I'm sure signature pictures wouldn't be any bigger than the four lines of text we are allowed now, so unless the sigs now are making it hard to read important content, then I don't think pics will. Though they are colorful, so that might be distracting to the cats that wander by the computer screen.

Let's put the binary aside for a moment.... Am I the only one who thinks that "signature revolt" doesn't make sense? That sounds like the signatures are protesting and not the posters. If you want to bring about a change then we should be joining the "signature revolution"

You can choose not to have signitures display at all in your forum settings. So currently the devs would have to hide all images to avoid these banners, but that would also hide screenshots. If the pics were in sigs, they could be hidden as signatures. The revolt's actually got a good tactic.

Finally someone who agrees with me! It wouldn't affect just the devs, but everyone...seeing a signature picture is cool the first, second, and maybe even the third time you see it. But then it just becomes annoying. However, if there is some way to turn them off then I guess I wouldn't mind.
