The level 56 cap has been in place for quite a while now, and there are probably a large number of 56s in the game. Since the whole storyline has been quite smoothly concluded with the alien invasions, perhaps a good segway would be to start a new chapter exploring a new planet/dimension. This way, it keeps the whole environment instantly fresh for all max levels (making us all wide eyed newbies again), while keeping the first planet a springboard to more advanced worlds.

Possible new planes would be the alien planet world of sizoo, the god planes of anubis, or even a fully expanded shadow realm. Hope you can give it some thoughts as I notice more and more max levels with each passing day and you can only hold their interest for so long before the power levellers leave for another game.

lol yep, AO3 was IMO blackstar hungry devs showing us some love with scifi content in PL. however, expect a lot more fantasy themed stuff from here on, since Blackstar will pretty much take the scifi cake.

Well actually I've thought about this and I'd like to have a campaign about the ocean! Maybe I'll be lucky enough to design the equips? :) LOL JUST IMAGINE----WATER AND BUBBLES EVERYWHERE

Since getting to 56 is about 83k the xp to get to 57 would be like 84k

I doubt it, I think they will lower the amount of xp needed for lvl 56+ until you hit the new cap which will need the very large amount of xp again.

The only way to viably reset the xp would be by bringing you to a new world or dimension. Simplying patching more towns and dungeons will work but only to delay the inevitable. If leveling to 56 took a month, how much do you want people to grind to get 57? MMO games that intentionally uses grind to slowdown gameplay have not done well because players do realize what the devs are up to.

the last level is a bonus, to let you get a little ahead b4 the next level cap increase. once the update comes out, the xp needed for lv56 will be divided by 10, to 8.3k, and lv61 will be the new super level.
