I was playing AL on my nexus 7 from like an year but I just factory reset my device and when I went to down load it and coc here's what it says...

Ok i know what happen.
So u use android tablet for play the game?
Maybe ur basic phone OS is below 2.3, and i think u upgraded ur OS before playing AL, cause AL system req is OS 2.3 or newest. And when ur factory reset ur phone, ur OS go back to old version. All u need is upgrade ur OS.
Android:
You will need to be running OS 2.3 or greater.
You will need a device that has OpenGL ES 2.0 support.
Your device’s processor will need to support arm-v7a.

Same thing happened to me earlier after factory reset.I just waited for my apps to automatically update, and it worked right away.
Thought I'm dead when I saw the device not compatible message!lol

It happened with me to on my brand new lenovo cell.
Google is a cheater, its a lie that ur cell isn't compatible . team STS is awesome and their work shines on all devices.
Google is just forcing you to upgrade or buy other upgraded cell.
Don't fall for it.
Just disable that play store crap and download game externally and install it.
It works fine.

(at least for the devices I own) the Google Play Store updates automatically
All the people telling you you need to root your phone, thats not needed (in fact if done incorrectly, you may even brick your phone)
You have two options,
I'm assuming you have an Android with an SD card equipt
you have two options
from your device's file explorer,
Go to:
/sdcard/.androidsecure/smdl2tmp1.asec
Android OS will automatically recreate the file later, so no worries.
smdl2tmp1.asec gets corrupted from time to time,
deleting and letting Android OS recreate the file should fix the issue
Another method
Steps
1. Remove SD Card from device and connect it to your computer
(which hopefully has an SDXC slot, and you have a SDXC to MicroSD card)
2. Take out all useful/needed files from your SD Card
3. Format it (meaning to clear the data from it)
4. Plug SD Card back into device
5. Download AL/CoC and play

Just open Play store , go to Settings and click on the Version a couple of times, and it should work ;)
