Meaning of Term "Noob"

Hello,

I am posting this straight out of a PvP match because a player (after killing him after 5 times straight) called me a noob. This really irritates me because "Noob" is short for Newbie, and "Newbie" is a slang term for New Guy. I am just sending a Friendly message to the Pocket Legends Community that you should think twice before calling anyone a noob (unless they are a new player of course). It is very immature and you are most likely going to start an arguement no one ever needs to hear. PLEASE think twice before you insult, offend, or tick anyone off.

My friends and me call eachother noobs all the time.

This thread is to show the meaning of the word noob as an insult, you and your friends use it for fun n games not straightforward insults to people causing an altercation. Thats why he/she started the thread.

If I have to start a thread every time somebody says something I don't like, I would've started 100's of threads already. I still don't see any use for this thread other then for the op to vent their in game frustration.

I don't see why a topic about this needs to be created as it only fuels flame wars. Look at all the threads about similar topics that have been posted and you'll see my point.

but... this isnt about you or your feelings, its about his/hers, and he/she decided to use his/her time to create a thread and express his/her feelings and if you dont like it just ignore it... simple

It's not my feeling I'm talking about. If you would've taken the time to read some similar topics on this forum, you would've known that almost nobody around here likes topics like these.

The forums are used to post informative topics, not to vent ones frustration.

Topics like 'I don't like x, who said y to me' don't contribute anything to the forum. And, as said already, they only contribute to flame wars.

Furthermore, why would you tell me to ignore this? It's posted in a forum for everyone to see. Am I not entitled on my opinion (which I'm sure is shared by most of the people who actually use the forum)? Why wouldn't you just tell the same to the op? This way, drama stays where it should be and not around the forum as a useless topic.

Yeah i was about o type that what mendozza is doing is showing players and elimenate drama read the post more carefully cause he isnt creating this 'drama' you talk about cause i dont see this 'drama' what i see is something that might calm down drama

i pvp alot on my 10 & 20 & I've seen people say noob in almost every situation. I just laugh at em or ignore it and never saying it back knowing they are the noobs or acting like the nub.

A Noob is someone who lacks skills and does stupid idiotic things. An old player can be a noob, on the other hand a "newb" or a "newbie" strictly refers to new people.
