Ok I'm a lvl 55 dex mage I have both sewer king set and raid set ....sets not important. I'm good against everyone birds str birds bears dex or str other dex mages and even pally mages....the only ones that give me problems in pvp are nuke mages! I have tried everything I have used different combos and gear. As well as Mixing gear. I can't seem to when against them. I'm looking for some insight of any kind. Thx ...

Dex mage is what I'd pick using the SK set

Dex mages will lose against pure mages in PvP due to regen.
They still deal the most damage.

Dex mages will lose against pure mages in PvP due to regen.

As well as armor. Int mages usually have about 107-115 armor (with gemstone staff) or 132-139 armor (with wand) unbuffed. Dex mages have a wimpy 89-96 armor. The damage is lower, but the damage OUTPUT is greater. The crit comes into play a bit (67-69 with pure int, 84 ish with SK) Basically what I'm starting to say here but haven't, dex mages almost always lose unless the Mage has no clue what he's doing.

Well I use sk gear and with the ring I use I have the same regen with a little more than nukes useing mm gear....

Thx for the insight...I've just been trying to figure out wut I'm doing wrong or if its just the build against build in general...would using rr auto help any instead of useing recurve. Or is there anything u may suggest that will some what even out the playing field?

I don't remeber having a prob vs int mages 1/1 w sk set when,i,was dex mage. How much dex are you using btw?
If u can slam their mana shield w your high crits and strong combo and auto you should be able to take them down. Make them use their combo out of range so you aren't in as much danger from absorbing their full load.
