Yeah so after reseting my wifi two times and running speed test on all my devices. I'm lagging so bad I can't even play and I'm on wifi! I always have 55-155 ping on my iPad 2. As of today 200-16k, I can take two steps then freeze for a few seconds then two steps and freeze again... Pings all over the place. This has never happened to me before and I'm sorry to say but if it persists I quit. I can barley get to the CS. It has to be sts's severs or something, all my other gear is working fine no lag what so ever! Unacceptable!

Anyone experiencing high lag over wifi like I am? I'll try 3G I guess to test but I hate playing over 3G... Just not the same.

K venting done

Talked to some random people and they are experiencing the same thing as I am. Ping is not consistent over wifi. Really upsetting! I want to play and I can't due to ping. Just sitting in town ping is green few seconds yellow few seconds red few seconds 3-9k ping few seconds back to green and repeats all over again. Iv payed to much $ to not even be able to play! Vary upset about this!

I actually went in the forum to see if something was going on with the servers or something. I've been trying to host farming runs but almost everyone experienced extreme lag spikes on a regular basis.I reset my router and device 2 times and did speed tests to see if it was my Internet connection. Everything working fine... I'm using a freshly installed iPad with no push notifications at all.I'm calling it a day. Don't plan on getting more deaths until I know what's going on.

I won't get any latency issues and haven't got for long time.

I prefer everyone to close all running programs from background and reboot your device.

Since last night it's like slow motion, I'm glad I stayed with it because I won the fury sword and sold for 800,000.
But today seems even worse unplayable, I tried wifi,I tried to my network,I took my battery out.
My internet connection is fine with everything but pocket legends?
Im waiting for pocket legends to post something so I know what to do.

I did notice some occasionally 10-20 seconds lengths of lag spikes in which my ping rose to a few thousand.
I usually never get any ping over 400, bit of lag these few days, but still fine undisturbed gameplay for me

Hey guys,

There are a ton of things that can affect your connectivity to the game servers. There could be an issue with a router somewhere between where you are and where the game server is that's say, dropping packets. This router could be totally out of control of us or of your ISP but still affecting your gameplay. This is just an example of something that could go wrong.

Take a look at http://www.internetpulse.net/ There are a few squares in there that are having trouble. Your traffic could be routing through there.

I've passed your feedback along to our tech guys - but if everything is running fine from our perspective, then the issue is likely somewhere on the net or with your specific set up.

Mhm, thanks for the reassurance Sam.
One question, has it always been like this for you guys(PL players) with the lag or did it just start up randomly?
Also how long have you been having this?..
My lag started this Wednesday or something

Are you telling us that everything looks fine on your end or you going to look into it?
Because I'm noticing the same issues being posted on facebook.
Thanks for all you do

I dont think its fair to blame STS servers because you did a few tests. I had some lag spikes but its not bad. Just stop playing until its gone? Lol no need to fret about something like that :) You can always go outside and go for a drive or roll around in the dirt until the ping goes back down.

Were not trolling or flaming,It's our responsibility to let them know when the game's not running right.
It has nothing to do with my blame.

I had some lag spikes this weekend on 3 wifi access points on 3 different networks. On one of these (our newest and fastest), I have no idea why it was lagging. It cleared after a 1/2 day. On the 2nd, we've known the cable deliverer (Time Warner) has had issues providing consistent connections, so it's going to be discontinued. On the 3rd, I unplugged and replugged the access point, and that made that network connect better.

The other thing I usually do when I get logs of lag is check for a new iPad iOS, which in other times of lag, fixed those lags. That wasn't the issue this weekend.

Today, I still get some lag, but it's not bad. My usually connection over any of the networks is 150-250ping. Usually.

It's weird because my ping has been a little worse than usual, but only by a little.

However, a few days ago my ping was ridiculous, hovering around 4-6k and occasional spikes into the 10k plus range.

Ok thanks happy to know it's just not me... Also thank you Samhayne for your quick response.

No flaming was ever intended and yes I put the game down and did something else. Lol

No this is the vary first time I have ever had problems playing PL over WiFi, iPhone and iPad. Everything things up to date, rebooted, reset blah blah blah. I know my way around idevices and networking. Think I will just call time warner cable and see whats up.

ive gotten lag from other routers, but from mine, i saw only a slightly perceptible bump in ping.
i'm guessing the servers just need a quick restart, nothing big.

-not to moan and groan-
but i have had some lag and my fps is way lower then normal.
and just out of curiosity has anyone else lagged to where it made your thumb or finger lose
connection with the virtual joystick?

My pings have gotten high enough to disconnect me. When it gets like that I don't play.

Hi, I just posted in the technical issues section, then found this thread lol.

Good to know that others have been experiencing similar problems as me too. This means my device and wifi router configuration are not at fault. Normally I get good connection, but past few days ping has been consistently inconsistent during the same time of day for me. The ping might be normal at one point, then suddenly shoot up and after awhile. e.g. before entering a room - good ping, inside room - suddenly horrible ping, etc. The thing is, it seems to affect some players and not others. Sometimes my fellow party members are all fine except for me, sometimes 1 or 2 are not, etc.

But one thing is clear, from what I see in game, as well as on the forums here - is that if you are getting these many players who are being affected, you can bet there are probably many more who are keeping quiet, or simply cannot be bothered to sound off here. Also, it does not appear likely that it is our devices/internet settings that are at fault, since there are so many similar incidents recently. But then again, perhaps it might not be the game servers, but as has been posted earlier, some section of internet traffic between our device and your game servers that are responsible. Well, not trying to complain, but simply hoping that the devs would be able to help us out somehow by bringing this up to your attention.

Thank you!

Well, I played again today, after the server maintenance, and experienced no lag whatsoever anymore :)

I wonder if anybody else noticed this?
