What is the Highest Armor for Avians?

What is the highest armor possible for a pure dexterity avian? Any level dex armor that gives highest armor.

If you're going for survivability go drainers, the dodge is so much more helpful than the small armor boost. You won't need a wing.

It's certainly not the highest armor possible, but I use the configuration in the screenshot below when I want protection.It feels like it does way more dmg than a talon, with similar survivability. I use the sewer king bow for some m/s at the expense of crit. Usually I just stick to custom, but found the configuration below very useful when in a weaker team.But, you need to be 56 in order to be able to use it. I use the fortified cop (str crown). Which is the same as the sent talon set pre-vanity/ring but it's one less when you equip the same vanity/ring. Dunno why.

He said it's because none of the stats are perfectly rounded. So that tiny bit of variance causes this. Like one set would give 133.49 armor, which is displayed as 133 armor, while the other would give you 133.5 armor, which is displayed as 134.

He explained it way better, but I think you get the idea.

Yanis pink guide only shows pinks. Not sure on birds, but some of the non-pinks give higher or equal armor than str top end pinks, which is quite bazaar.

Yeah thats why i dont like the pink only thing..i remember seeing i guide that shows all 51,53,55 sets and their set bonuses but i cant remember where i saw it!

P. S. Sentinel Talon set has similar armor to henchmans talon, but sentinel talon set has far superior regens, higher dodge, higher crit, and a tad lower dps. The higher crit makes up for the lower dps, in my opinion. There's a reason why sentinel costs more, because it rocks.

Instead of looking at armour, its advisable to look at surivavbility, which is a combination of dodge, armor, and to a lesser extent, health regen. Certain sets (such as the fortified gemstone sword set) also boost hp.

Sentinel Death Talon Set is the best set you could possibly find out there. For Pure Dex Birds. Other than the looks, it has awesome stats, great crit and skill damage. Plus the h/s and m/s you get will ensure survivability almost anywhere. (accept grates)

Sentinel armor boosts health and mana by 20. It's not listed, but it does. Not a big boost, but better than nothing.

if ur going for survivability then I'd def go with a mix of 2 underlings and 1 henchman gear (I go cheap, lol). It gives the highest crit and damage mixture that I've found. In terms of survivability crit and damage are ur two most important stats because we all know that mobs can't kill u if u kill them first. ;)

Max armor given by DEX gears is 114. It can be achieved by Sentinel Talon set (Armor 44, Helm 23, Shield 32, Talon 7, set bonus 8) or by a Drainer's Talon set (Armor 49, Helm 29, Talon 8, plus 28 from a Gutter, Underling or RR Wing, because there is no Drainer's Wing). The latter is really cheap, but lacks offensive power because it adds 0% crit vs. 16% of the Sentinel.

Actual max armor depends also on weared rings (Fine Golden Band of Technique +9), vanity items (some add 1 Armor), and by your stats (each DEX point adds 0,028 Armor).
