What is the best gear for a lvl 40 archer ??

At the moment I own full shivering armour

Scorpion leather of Horus... bit pricey tho, so you might want to just wait until 45. Shivering leather is still pretty good at that level.

I'd suggest sticking with shivering until 43 or 45, then upgrade to scorpion leather + a scarab bow of some sort. At 41 you can get a small upgrade, but it's not really worth the price.

I would have to say its the Scorpion Leather of Isis. Not sure how many there is.

Problem with Isis items is no dodge. My opinion is a mix of items to give balance. Dex Isis items tend not to sell as well as dex Horus, so there must be a reason.

I found one in cs for cheap. Lucky me:D sold for nice profit

But as otu said, stick it out with shivering until you hit 45 unless you get a nice drop, or level to 41 and buy 41 Horus/snipers (cheaper than 40 Horus)

A lot of people don't know the prices of the level 39/40 items. You can get 2-3 a day for less than 2k ea.

They might be all sold out at the moment. Just check the CS every few hours if you can, something is bound to pop up as players level up and sell old equipment.
