So I just started to do a cover song on youtube, it's Broken by Seether. I was wondering if there are other people here like me that does song covers, I'd love to hear em. I would post it on a social media about song covers but I cant seem to find one that's actually focused on that. Anyways I'd love to hear yours, don't be shy, not much visits this section and I'm a noob at this lol.

I occasionally find a song I like, then learn it by ear on guitar, then probably tab out the playing, record a bit on Garageband,
but never uploaded anything to YouTube

damn tho that's awesome, I have a hard time tracking the chords by ear specially on plucked songs. Do you upload on soundcloud tho?

nope.
no online websites as of yet (maybe in the future)
as of currently,
its just saved on my laptop as Garageband files
I been working on a song on my own time, but currently its a jumbled mess on GB

Also, I mainly been learning guitar on my own, I dunno if our definitions of Chords are similar.
the only chords I've ever played are stuff like x335xx, x557xx, x355xx, x577xx (etc.) on Drop C tuning (CGCFAD)

Oooh tablatures! And with drop c i assume you play metal mostly? Does that mean you've been tracking metal riffs by ear? O.o daaaaaaaamn

I dunno if Tablatures = Tab = fret numbers to press down during certain notes

Yes I stay within the metal-genre (and no I don't like arguing on what is "metal" and what isnt)

I've played violin/viola for a long time now, by this point, most notes I hear, I can figure out.
I've started out using websites like UltimateGuitar, and Songsterr, learned how chords sound, then eventually memorize their sound,
then plugging my guitar into GB, I play along with the song. It takes a while to figure out what is being played,
but I eventually figure it out :D
