As I'm sure most of you have noticed the prices are falling and are on a steady rate down. I was wondering why the reasons were for this drop. Pink Bayou bow has been falling along with the pink tiara of mastery and many other high price items.
This is why I think that every one is selling... people are realizing that were are going to have a new map soon. They are trying to sell all their unwanted items to have some cash for the aliens. When more of the same item is getting sold that brings down their overall value. When your a level 35 right now your not going to want a dreamers ice staff because you have a better swamp one.
tell me if you guys have any other theories.
Good! No More GREEDY people demanding hundred of thousands of gold for items...

Actually, I think it's because people are realizing just how much people are willing to pay for items. It's the market at work, people, don't fret. ;)

Yeah i think your both right. Its a combo. But if flaimdude's theory is right then it will be beneficial for the people that did get to sell their items for close to 100k because they have a alot more money now.

Sadly, I had to take economics last semester (or maybe not so sadly now), and that's one of the key things: if there aren't price controls, the prices will eventually settle to a point where both the buyers and sellers are happy. :) Since secure trade has been out for a couple days now, that's what's happening.

Flaimdude is right. We're seeing a natural market correction. Buyers and sellers are agreeing on prices that please both parties. No big deal....
Unless you're one of the poor suckers who paid 150k fo a hat. If you are, then you have my condolences.

This is an old binary joke. 10=2 in binary.
The market is finally finding a good median. People just aren gonna be paying 200 and 300k for items.
Also to account for is the new map, and the longer a map is around, the more people farm that item, and the less rarity that item has.
