It's basically a glorified sticky forum. As such, posters shouldn't be able to start a thread there.
I foresee it becoming a forum where anybody thinks they have a worthwhile guide, when in reality, they do not. Or, worse, they could be duplicating something that already exists.
I think players should continue to post their "guides" in General. And if it becomes "Guide-Worthy" an admin can move it to the Player Guides forum, where people can continue to comment/praise the OP's hard work.
