What's the best gear possible at level 45 for a pure dex bird?

Breaking down into all four categories, what would be the best gear possible?

Shield: (regardless of whether you actually use a one handed weapon or not)

Pretty much best set you could get for this level, and it doesnt cost much. (no need to buy anything expensive for this level until you going to stay at 45)

Someone told me the best bow is the Trueshot Autocrossbow of Fortune rather than the Red Scarab Bow. I was able to compare the stats of a green trueshot and even that seems to be vastly superior...

Yeah, the trueshot is a tad better, but will set you back a fortune at level 45. Just stick with a mix of osiris, horus, thoth and isis items and save your cash for later upgrades. Just don't forget dodge though... it's a life saver!

My goal for 45 is pure damage and I'm not as concerned about cash or armor. Trueshot bow of Fortune level 45 (pink) is the best weapon hands down. I'd you're strapped for cash go with a green trueshot bow.
For armor, snipers gear offers the most hit and critical that I can find but I'm wondering if the additional damage from Swamp Rat is worth the drop in armor. I typically don't worry about armor and instead focus on mowing down the trash mobs before they get to me. I haven't run any figures through a spreadsheet but maybe someone with experience can speak up.
For pure damage is Swamp Rat or Sniper best at 45? Or some other gear??

but even as a pure dex bird level 33 my dps is around 110 with a talon and around 100 with a bow

The "of horus" or "of fortune" items are pretty much the best dex options 40 to 50. Before that, Swamp rat is passed up in favor of Shivering by most. Horus goes 37-45 I think, and "of Fortune" goes 45 to 50. Level 45 "of Horus" items are pretty cheap because they drop in AO2, especially plasma pyramid. The level 45 "of Fortune" items are expensive because they only drop in AO3, and the party has to be under level 46 to get level 45 items. At least I believe that is how it works.

Register - what talon vs bow are you comparing? I've never seen the talon as the high DPS weapon of choice.

Regarding the low level weapon drops I need someone to verify. If one person in the party is level 49 and everyone else is lower, will pinks be level 49 at the lowest? Anyone know of a post that confirms this?

I think it goes by average instead of max level. I looted a lvl 51 MM robes once, and I know there were at least 2 players 53 or above. I was 48 or 49 at the time... the rest of the party was really mad, but I still ended up with most of the aggro. :p

I reviewed the pinks from alien oasis (yanis thread) and found isis to be the best defensive choice and osiris the best attaching choice. At level 45, I used the isis for the helm and armor and the red scarab osiris bow. Compare this combination with what your using.

well i reckon isis stuff would be good. gives good regen and decent armour red scarab as bow and scorpion leather and helm all of isis that what i would personaly use up to u tho

I thought horus was best since it adds dex....i spent a lil bit of cash on everything except the talon....it was like 50k....im savin up for sentinel gear now im at 215k :'(
