Use 7 in heal, 3-4 in icestorm, 0 in weakness, and 9 in mana shield (some prefer only one, but I think the +40 armor is really helpful -- the rest is up to you. Nightmare is important in this day and age of PvP, so I'd recommend 8-9.

such complexness is rly necesary? where u can jus spam drain fire heal etc whoops whoops atleas for otha clases

Sadly drain fire doesnt work on bears or other mages nor does it work on GOOD birds. So...cheer up!

If you only have a 2pc you should stick to twinking. At endgame you have to pay 40mill for the best gear but yet still be at a huge disadvantage compared to 3pc mages.

For example I have full elites but my damage is 401 and my armor is 311

To get to 429 damage I have to go half dex.

For 3pc users they are full intel but they have 429 damage and 340 armor. Even with the best gear you will be off alot of damage compared to 3pc users, and makes endgame unenjoyable. Its not fun for the 2pc users trust me:) 71 and lower are the levels for pvping if you dont jave a 3pc.

Still a shame this cap didnt give elite vanity though alot of capped 300k xp with me probably being the exception by capping 1mill+ xp.

Maybe this will help you.
As an int Mage I don't use debuffs. Works well with other mages. Just be sure to time ice storm because here is a delay when it comes to lading your opponent. Just my food for thought. Might as well give it a shot [emoji28] Happy PVPing!

@Beezle - I'd highly suggest 8-9 in nightmare. Not so much against other mages, but against bears and birds it can become essential. You can do this by using only one point in icestorm, and you can take a point from heal as I also suggest 7. I really only use icestorm to freeze anyone when I, or others, are treeing. It's extremely useful to buy another second or two of time (that's only if it isn't dodged, of course).

When you get very close to the target. Don't waste it from afar. And against mages, only use nightmare when you're ready to use other spells (lightning, drain, fire) as skilled mages will easily heal off nightmare in a quick amount of time.

Why don't you use the time that you're spamming/watching this thread and just go try different combos on your own? Figure out which one works best for you and go with it. Pl isn't exactly a complex game. Figure it out. They gave you builds, now go try them.
