where to get vanity helms? and what do they do?

by the way where can I find the vanity helms like a shiny plant and birthday hat

Go to the plat store. The only vanity helm with more than 1 armor is the Founders helm which people recieved if they were playing in the first two weeks of the games release. The 'shiny plant' was a St.Patricks day event item. The birthday hat was also an event item for the 1st anniversary.

I think you're getting confused because the 20(?) days started in April and ended in May, but didn't last the whole 61 days, if you get what I mean.
